Energy Saving and Optimization for Process of Positive Pressure Distillation and Crude Oil Stabilization Device

Abstract:In the positive pressure distillation process,the quantity and quality of lighter hydrocarbon are mainly affected by the temperature of heating furnaces and the tower top,but the influence of these temperatures on the energy consumption and unit energy consumption has not been further studied.Thus,through simulation and field tests,the most suitable working condition is explored.On the premise of unchanged output of lighter hydrocarbon,the temperature of heating furnace is decreased and that of the tower top is increased.By doing so,the gas consumption of one ton of lighter hydrocarbon and that of ten thousand tons of oil is lowered,which can achieve purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction.

Economical Analysis of High Performance Aerogel Thermal Insulation Material Applying on Surface Pipelines in Stations

Abstract:The economical efficiency of high performance aerogel thermal insulation material applying on surface pipelines in oil transportation stations is studied.The thermal insulation efficiency,initial investment and maintenance cost of aerogel material and traditional thermal insulation material are calculated and compared.It is found that the application of the aerogel material on pipelines is comprehensively better than that of traditional thermal insulation materials.The energy and operation expense(mainly refers to changing material of traditional insulating layers and cost of labor)saved by applying aerogel material could cover the extra initial investment in 2-4 years,and it could save energy and renewal cost persistently and considerably in its subsequent service life. Moreover,its effect would be better when the temperature difference between inside and outside of the pipeline is bigger,when yearly heating time is longer and when price of heating fuel or electric energy rises.Generally,applying aerogel thermal insulation materials on pipelines would increase benefits for pipeline companies by means of energy saving and cost reducing.

Study of the Test Point of Balance Degree for Pumping Units

Abstract:The test point for testing accuracy of pumping unit balance is studied.Using the calculation method of comparing balance degree and combined with actual conditions in the field test,the position of the test point is analyzed.Through the analysis,it is found that the output current can improve the pass rate of balance degree,but cannot really reflect the crank power of the pumping unit.In order to improve the accuracy of the data,the test point is selected at the input end.Selecting test points with high accuracy data can help to to improve pumpingunit energy consumption,so that the oil production plant can find the problem and use effective methods to reduce energy consumption and improve power saving rate.

DevelopmentandApplication ofLong-term Sustained Release Paraffin Controllerin the Low Permeability Oilfield

Abstract:In order to solve problems such as the period of adding paraffin inhibitor at the wellhead is short,viscosity reduction is largely influenced by seasons,energy consumption of the single well is high after paraffin precipitation,a new type of long-term sustained release paraffin controller is studied through preparation of solid pharmaceutical,optimization of slow release materials and protective films and design of structure carrier.The results of the field test show that compared with adding paraffin inhibitor,the daily average energy of single well reduces 5.2 kWh,and paraffin control rate reaches over 60%.The valid period can be more than 2 years by using two 3-stages paraffin controllers.Compared with paraffin inhibitors and solid paraffin controllers that are used in the oilfield,the effect of the long-term sustained release paraffin controller is better,and the controller can be used as an effective measure to remove and control paraffin in the oilfield.

Efficient Operation Analysis of Water Jacket Furnaces Using in United Stations of Shengli Oilfield

Abstract:The water jacket furnace is the main energy-consuming equipment in Shengli Oilfield,and its operation efficiency has direct influence on energy consumption of united stations.Through analyzing coiler pipe heat transfer under constant load of the water jacket furnaces in untied stations,the relationship between air coefficient and heat efficiency under fixed amount of fuel,and the simulating calculation under constant load,it is concluded when the fuel of the water jacket furnace in untied stations completely burns under constant load,the lower air coefficient is,the higher energy efficiency is.Furthermore,it is got that under any load,the efficiency of the water jacket furnace in united stations will be high if its air coefficient is lowest during complete combustion process,which can provide theoretical basis for guiding the efficient operation of the water jacket furnace in united stations.

Discussion on the Calculation Method of Energy Consumption Indexes for Water Injection System in the Oilfield

Abstract:There are many indexes can reflect energy consumption of water injection system in the oilfield,but no single index can do direct comparison when different water injection systems are evaluated.Through analyzing the applicability and principle of existing common indexes,problems in application of these indexes are pointed out.Meanwhile,influencing factors of energy consumption indexes in water injection system are analyzed, and how to eliminate index incommensurability caused by those factors is studied.Finally,an index that can directly reflect the levels of energy consumption in different water injection system with values is found.

Comprehensive Utilization of Heat Energy in SAGD Development for Super Heavy Oil

Abstract:As the replacement technology in the mid and late period of steam huff and puff development for super heavy oil,SAGD is characterized by high temperature,high pressure and a lot of heat energy,so making fulluse of produced heat energy can reduce more fuel consumption.In recent years,Liaohe Oilfield has been committed to comprehensive utilization of heat energy in SAGD development.Through reforming boilers and processes, adding heat exchange devices to united stations,SAGD thermal efficiency increases and the heat energy of hightemperature separation water and produced liquid of steam injection are fully used.By doing so,it is estimated that annual consumption of natural gas can be reduced by 4004×104m3,and sewage disposition can be reduced by 347×104m3,which achieves zero sewage disposition and saves 252×104t of clean water.The outstanding achievement in energy conservation,emission reduction,cost reduction and efficiency improvement can be seen,and it provides an effective way to further improve benefits for the oilfield.

Improving Heavy Oil Development Effect by Applying the New Heavy Oil Development Technology-

Abstract:Low-cost and high-efficiency lifting new technology to develop thick oil wells has become an important research topic for improving quality and adding benefits of heavy oil production in all kinds of oilfields. Shengli Oilfield puts forward that the heavy oil development new technology is used to enhance the effect of heavy oil development,improve overall system efficiency of heavy oil well development and achieve low-cost development of heavy oil production wells.The technology principles,using conditions and actual application effects of 5 new heavy oil development technologies used in the oilfield,namely,viscosity reduction of rotational flow under pump,increasing energy with nitrogen,integrated technology of supporting,injection and production in heavy oil and extra-heavy oil areas,insulation technology and integrated technology of sand prevention and gas injection,are introduced.Practice shows that these new heavy oil development technical measures are very effective to the quality improving and efficiency increasing of heavy oil development.

Optimization and Modification of Desulfurization Process for Offshore Oilfield Associated Gas

Abstract:Supergravity desulfurization process in some oilfield is applied on the offshore platform for the first time,which can reduce the volume fraction of hydrogen sulfide in associated gas from 35 000×10-6to 14×10-6. But there are many aspects that are found to be improved during debugging and operating process of the project. In order to solve problems that influence normal operation of the process system,optimization and modification are done to the desulfurization system according to the practical conditions,including adding and optimizing treatment equipments,optimizing process flow and tank design.These measures make the system run more stable,reduce the reagent consumption,further increase operation time rate and provide reference for the process application on the offshore platform at the same time.

Application Effect Analysis of Online Balance Adjustment Technology for Pumping Units

Abstract:At present,the adjustment of balance on site mainly relies on manual adjustment of the balance blocks.On one hand,the operation needs to stop the pumping well,which affects the production;on the other hand,heavy workload is caused by frequent adjustments,and if the adjustment is not in time,security risks would occur.According to the above problem,the online balance adjustment technology for pumping units is applied. Through adding weight to the beam of the pumping unit,it controls the solar powered system by remote control to remove the weigh and improve the system stress state,and then the purpose of balance adjustment can be achieved.The field test and application effect analysis show that the device can adjust the balance of pumpingunits without stopping,and 2 A of current and 2 kW of power can be adjusted within the range of the additional weight;it can save power of 9.8 kWh averagely per day;when the average power balance is controlled in the range of 70%to 120%,the pumping unit not only can achieve its best range of balance,but also can achieve its best state of energy consumption.

Application of the Ultra Smooth Metallic Coating of the Circulating Water Pump in Power Plants

Abstract:Circulating water system has high energy consumption and large energy loss,so energy saving and consumption reduction is quite important.The study finds that a lot of factors can lead to energy loss of circulating water system,among which limescale and rust are more influential.In order to reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency,many measures are taken to prevent and remove limescale and rust and to reduce energy loss,and many methods have certain energy-saving effects.Through analyzing factors that cause energy loss of the pump and application of ultra smooth metallic coating performance,coating technology is studied and used for energy-saving transformation of the circulating water pump,and for improvement of the pump efficiency. Through field tests,result analysis and practical application,the method is proved to be feasible and can improve the saving power rate.

Establishment and Application of Energy-saving Benchmarking Management Mode of Pumping Wells in Grape Flower Oilfield

Abstract:Mechanical production system is a major energy-consuming part of the oilfield.Along with development of the oil field,the number of pumping wells is increasing year by year and the application scale of mechanical production energy-consuming equipment is continuously enlarging,which make the level of energy consumption rise continuously.Therefore,establishing energy-saving benchmarking management mode of pumping wells can make technology and management departments accurately get energy efficiency current status of mechanical production system.Meanwhile,gaps can be found and potential can be clarified,which offer objectives and directions for energy-saving management and technical measurements in the oilfield provide strong guarantee for sustainable development of the oil field.Through practice and exploration,a set of energy-saving benchmarking management mode that suitable for Grape Flower Oilfield has been formed.It provides references for similar oilfields in the respect of pumping well energy-saving management.

Optimizing Gathering and Transportation Methods to Reduce Cost and Increase Benefits

Abstract:As development of the oilfield has entered the mid-to-late stage,so how to reduce cost and increase benefits is particularly important,and oil transfer station system is a vital point for energy saving in the gathering and transportation system.The late period of sewage treatment needs certain temperature,so the win-win of energy conservation and water quality is a problem that the energy saving of the gathering and transportation system in the oilfield must face with.By comparing energy consumption conditions of different gathering and transportation methods,the method of“low temperature gathering,high temperature transportation”is developed and it achieves good energy saving effects.The oil transfer station system operation mode is optimized,and a new model with"low-temperature gathering and transportation,high-temperature transportation outside"is proposed and implemented.Its gas-saving rate can be more than 15%.By using that model,the temperature required by production and operation can be satisfied,and gas-saving,consumption-reducing,cost-reducing and efficiency-increasing can be realized at the same time.

Application of the Energy Saving Device for Reducing Speed of Pumping Units

Abstract:In order to effectively alleviate production operation conditions of wells with insufficient liquid and to reduce energy waste phenomenon,from the point of realizing ultra-low speed oil recovery,the energy-saving device for reducing speed of pumping units is used.Through the method of setting transition wheels between the electromotor and the reducer casing pulley of the pumping unit,ultra-low speed running of the pumping unit is achieved.After applying the device,the pumping unit speed can be reduced to 1.5 min-1,and daily produced liquid of the single well remains stable.Meanwhile,the system runs smoothly,the phenomenon of insufficient liquid improves,and the indication shows full.Furthermore,submergence depth increases 148 m,pump efficiency increases 18.3 percentage points,active power reduces 1.2 kW,energy saving of the single well is 31.2 kWh,investment recovery period is about 169 days,and system efficiency increases 1.78 percentage points.The energy saving device for reducing speed of pumping units has a wide application prospect in oilfields with low permeability.

Application of the Waste Heat Recovery Unit in the Offshore Oilfield

Abstract:The problem that on some offshore central processing platform,heating load demand is great and space is limited in crude oil processing is needed to be solved.Considering the vent gas of the gas turbine which provides power for platform has features of high temperature(about 500℃),stable emission and large emission amount in oilfield development,a set of hot oil circulation device to recycle the heat energy from high-temperature vent gas of the gas turbine is established.The device meets the heating load demand and reduces the space at the same time.Through evaluating the field usage conditions of the waste heat recovery unit,remarkable energy saving effect is shown,which has strong promoting value.

The Situation and Countermeasures of Natural Gas Pipeline Patrol

Abstract:The natural gas pipeline route usually has complex geographical environment,variable climate conditions and high transporting pressure,so if leakage,burning,explosion and other accidents happen,the lives of people around will be seriously threatened,and significant economic losses and negative social impact will be occurred.Therefore,the importance of natural gas pipeline patrol management is self-evident.Pipeline patrol is the first defense line to find tie-up and third-party construction.Taking the pipeline management of Dagang Oilfield Natural Gas Company as an example,four measures to ensure safe operation of the pipeline are put forward,such as establishing and improving patrol management system,establishing patrol staff training management system, strengthening the management of pipeline hidden danger identification and strengthening the emergency management of gas pipelines.

Design and Implementation of Oilfield Production Indexes Early Warning System

Abstract:In daily production process of the oilfield,different indexes vary over time.To reduce the loss come from production index that over normal operation range,it is urgent to establish an oilfield production index early warning system.All kinds of indexes of production units such as production wells,metering rooms,oil transfer stations and dehydrating stations are completely analyzed,and then key indexes,which are important to oilfield production,such as return pressure,wellhead temperature,fluid production and power consumption of a ton of liquid are filtered to do the early warning design.Meanwhile,the directly showed early warning indexes based on GIS technology can inform the production staff in time and reduce production accidents,which can provide necessary help to improve efficiency and reduce losses in oilfield daily production.

Revised Suggestions on Monitoring and Evaluation Standards of Heating Furnaces Operation on the Plateau

Abstract:Qinghai oil field is located on the plateau,so the operation indicators of heating furnaces in gathering and transportation system are relatively low.Compared with Petrochina average indicators,indicators such as thermal efficiency,air coefficient and exhaust temperature of Qinghai Oilfield have big gaps.According to the oilfield monitoring data report of heating furnaces over the years,the differences of furnaces indictors when run on the plateau and in the plain are compared,especially air coefficient and thermal efficiency.Theoretical air coefficient of high altitude areas is discussed and new energy-saving monitoring standard indicators of oilfield gas heating furnaces are proposed.Meanwhile,the indicators should be revised during the operation process of heating furnaces.The reasonable energy-saving monitoring indicators of heating furnaces on the plateau should be further determined,which can fully and accurately evaluates the energy efficiency status of heating furnaces on the plateau.
