Uint3 Asking the way 教学设计

教学内容:五年级下册Uint3 Asking the way My reading

教学目标:

1、能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写单词、词组和句子。

2、学生能够运用所学知识正确表达如何到达某地。

3、通过学习本单元的知识,让学生能够学会用英语问路或者帮助别人指路。

教学过程:

Step1 Pre-reading

1.Know something about students

T:What’s your name? Nice to meet you.How many people are there in your family?(You look so sweet,I think that maybe a sweet family)

T:You look strong,so you like sports right? What sports do you like? Can you show our some action? Wonderful!

【设计意图】通过师生的介绍,拉近师生距离,营造英语学习的氛围,为下面英语的学习做准备。

2.Know something about me

Say a chant about me.

T:Just now,I know some of you.And now,do you want to know me? So listen to me.

【设计意图】通过Chant说唱的形式来进行自我介绍,并做适当铺垫,I like sports,I come to school on foot,从而引出下面的Miss Wang每天上班步行的路线图。

3.Show the way from home to Dafeng Primary School and Yancheng Primary School

Teach some phrases:turn right,turn left,go long,traffic lights,get on,get off,walk to.

【设计意图】通过向学生展示Miss chen每天上班的路线图,让学生理解turn left,turn right,traffic lights,go along this street。通过向学生展示今天乘公交车来盐城的图片,让学生理解get on,get off,walk to。为下面的对话理解扫清阅读障碍。

4.Look and say

Show the traffic signs and let students try to say the meanings.

【设计意图】让学生操练turn left/right,go long this street.

Step2 While-reading

1.Show my friend and present the title.

T:She doesn’t know the way.What should she do?

【设计意图】出示Amy Brown的图片,让学生根据两个hints来说一说Amy Brwon,并通过“What should she do” She should ask the way 来揭题。

2.Listen and answer.

T:Where does Amy Brown want to go? Teach:History Museum

【设计意图】让学生听录音,找出Amy想去的两个地方,整体理解对话。

3.Read,draw and find

Students read the dialogue,draw the lines and circle History Museum and bookshop.

Finish by yourself and then discuss in groups.

【设计意图】让学生先独立阅读,画出路线图,圈出这两个地方,再进行小组讨论,建构对对话的细节理解。

4.Read and find

Students read the dialogue again and find how Amy Brown asks the way.

【设计意图】让学生再读对话,找出Amy问路的句型,同时指导学生如何礼貌地进行问路。

5.Let’s practice

Look at the map carefully and try to ask and answer.One is asking the way,one is showing the way.

【设计意图】让学生根据地图上的路线和黑板上板书的句型来操练如何问路和指路,实现语言的输出。

Step3 Post-reading

1.Ask the way in our “Mini City”.

【设计意图】创设了一个虚拟的情境,里面有大丰市区的一些路和路名,让学生在虚拟的迷你城市里来问路和指路,将所学的语言运用到自己的生活中去,培养学生“用英语”的能力。

2.Image time:if there’s no policeman,what can Amy Brown do?

Helping others makes yourself happy.

【设计意图】通过对学生的回答,Amy会问路边其他的陌生人,进而反问学生如果你是其中的那些陌生人中的一个,你会帮助Amy Brown吗?进而对学生进行情感教育“Helping others makes yourself happy.”

3.Ticking time.

【设计意图】让学生围绕本课的教学目标进行自我评价,锻炼了学生自我评价的能力。
