昏暗球蛛雄性新发现(蜘蛛目:球蛛科)

首次记述了昏暗球蛛TheridionobscuratumZhu,1998的雄性,标本采自于中国福建武夷山,并给出了该种详细的鉴别特征、形态特征描述及形态特征图.

Material examined.Type material:female holotype,Xuan’en,Hubei Province,China,26 May 1989,Zhu Mingsheng (deposited in MHBU,examined).

Other material examined:China:Fujian Province:2 males,8 females,Wuyi Mountain,Lianhua Peak,N 27°41',E 117°57',2 August 2010,Zhang Feng leg.(MHBU); 4 males,4 females,Xiamei Village,Wuyishan City,N 27°40',E 118°02',3 August 2010,Zhang Feng leg.(MHBU).

Diagnosis.Among the congeners,the female of this species is similar toT.xianfengensisZhu & Song,1992,but differs in the position of the copulatory opening of the epigyne,which is in the anterior part of the circular atrium and visible from the ventral view,whereas concealed at the lateral margin of atrium and invisible from the ventral view inT.xianfengensis; and also the copulatory ducts is much shorter than that of the latter’s.The male can be easily separated from otherTheridionspecies by cymbium apically with four strong spines,and by the very short embolus.

Distribution:China (Hubei,Fujian)

球蛛科Theridiidae通常以第4步足具排列成梳状的锯齿状毛而著称[1],是蜘蛛目中的第4大科,全球性分布,已知122属2 462种[2],其中中国54属389种.该科广布于自然界及人造建筑,在屋檐、树枝间、土坡凹壁、杂草丛中结不规则三维网,网的有些部分具有黏滴,如球蛛属Theridion,是农林及卫生害虫的重要天敌[3-5].

球蛛属Theridion是蜘蛛目球蛛科中最大的属,目前全世界已知587种,中国已知66种.该属与希蛛属Achaearanea相近,两者可通过以下特征区分:希蛛属雄蛛的触肢器缺少根部,插入器与中突相连或宽阔地与盾板相连;希蛛属雌蛛的外雌器陷窝大,连接管通常粗短.球蛛属与灵蛛属Thymoites的区别在于:通常体形较大,步足较长,雄性眼区无特化的结构[5].

朱明生[1]仅以雌性标本建立了昏暗球蛛TheridionobscuratumZhu,1998.笔者在鉴定采自中国福建武夷山的球蛛科标本时,发现了12头成熟雌性和6头成熟雄性球蛛属标本.通过检视河北大学博物馆收藏的昏暗球蛛模式标本,其雌性被鉴定为昏暗球蛛T.obscuratum.其雄性标本,体形与花纹与雌性标本相似,其他特征也符合球蛛属的属征,因此将其鉴定为昏暗球蛛的雄性新发现.

1 材料与方法

标本保存于体积分数为75%的酒精中.标本鉴定、画图均使用Leica M165 c立体显微镜,使用Leica M205A进行拍照与测量.标本保存于河北大学博物馆(MHBU).文中测量单位均为mm.

2 种类记述

昏暗球蛛Theridion obscuratum Zhu,1998(图1-3)

鉴别特征:本种的雌性相似于咸丰球蛛T.xianfengensisZhu & Song,1992,两者的区别如下:1)外雌器插入孔的位置不同,本种插入孔位于外雌器中庭的前缘,并且腹面观清晰可见,而后者插入孔位于外雌器中庭的侧缘,且由腹面观不可见;2)交配管长短不同,本种的交配管明显短于咸丰球蛛的交配管.本种雄性明显区别于同属其他种类:1)触肢器跗舟顶端具有4根强壮的硬刺;2)非常短的插入器.

描述:雄蛛(图1b)体长1.85~1.94.1雄蛛体长1.85:头胸部长0.77,宽0.71;腹部长1.08,宽0.66.背甲深黄褐色,前半部分有1盾形的黑斑,放射沟黑色;中窝横向,线状.额高0.13.前眼列后凹,后眼列近平直;前后侧眼相接,各眼均具褐色的基部.眼直径:前中眼0.10,前侧眼0.08,后中眼0.08,后侧眼0.08.前中眼间距0.08,前中侧眼间距0.03,前侧眼间距0.23,后中眼间距0.08,后中侧眼间距0.05,后侧眼间距0.30.中眼域长0.23,宽0.23.螯肢黑褐色,前齿堤1大齿,后齿堤无齿.步足黄色,具黑色环纹和斑点,在腿节Ⅰ和Ⅱ上尤其显著.步足测量:步足Ⅰ 3.11 (1.10,0.15,0.98,0.68,0.20);步足Ⅱ 2.54 (0.78,0.15, 0.65,0.78,0.18);步足Ⅲ 1.34 (0.40,0.15,0.28,0.33,0.18);步足Ⅳ 1.71 (0.53,0.18,0.40, 0.40, 0.20).足式1243.腹部卵形,背面黄白色,前部中央1条黑色的弧形斑纹,两边具多列黑点;腹面黄色,在生殖沟与纺器中间有1黑色的梯形斑.围绕纺器有1黑色的环形斑纹.触肢器(图2c-e,3c-d):跗舟顶端钝,具有4根粗刺;引导器膜质,近S形;插入器短,末端细,基部粗,腹面观插入器端部一半的部分隐藏在引导器后面;盾板突扭曲,位于引导器的后方;中突勺状,末端加粗;亚盾板小,只有整个生殖球1/3的长度.

雌蛛(图1a)外表总体相似于雄蛛,体长2.20~2.27.1雌蛛体长2.20:头胸部长0.96,宽0.85;腹部长1.24,宽1.08.眼直径:前中眼0.09,前侧眼0.08,后中眼0.10,后侧眼0.08.前中眼间距0.06,前中侧眼间距0.03,前侧眼间距0.25,后中眼间距0.09,后中侧眼间距0.05,后侧眼间距0.33.中眼域长0.23,宽0.23.额高0.15.步足测量:步足Ⅰ 3.29 (1.05,0.18,1.08,0.75,0.23);步足Ⅱ 2.47 (0.83,0.15,0.73,0.53, 0.23);步足Ⅲ 1.64 (0.58,0.13,0.38,0.35,0.20);步足Ⅳ 1.76 (0.58,0.15,0.40,0.40,0.23).足式1243.外雌器(图2a-b,3a-b):外雌器中庭圆形且凹陷,前缘后凹;插入孔明显可见,位于中庭前缘;交媾管短且直;纳精囊卵圆形.
