“死亡瞪”（death stare）指用满怀敌意或轻蔑的目光直视某个人的眼神，也叫death glare。

这个词在2014年任天堂开发的游戏《马里奥赛车8》上线以后开始流行起来，游戏里面马里奥的弟弟路易吉冰冷的眼神被网友们称为“路易吉死亡凝视”（或者路易吉死亡瞪）。

有些“死亡瞪”威力太强大，隔着太阳镜也能感觉到。比如：布鲁斯给了她一个死亡瞪，隔着太阳镜都能感觉到。

后来，网友们发现，死亡瞪已经被各路名人拿来当“武器”了。比如右面：
