● 澳大利亚驻华大使安思捷访渝强调多领域合作

5月27日，重庆市副市长吴刚在西南大学西塔学院会见澳大利亚驻华大使安思捷一行。双方围绕教育、科技、食品、金融等领域进行了交流。安思捷此次出访，是其今年2月就任驻华大使以来首次出访国内省会城市。

副市长吴刚就重庆与澳大利亚的合作提出了三点建议：第一，助推已有项目，特别是生物医疗和智能感应等高新技术的合作。第二，加强教育方面的合作，加强与高等院校之间的科研合作，探索中外合作办学的新模式。第三，重庆市与澳大利亚布里斯班是友好城市，鼓励双方借助友好城市的人文活动，增加双方在文化上的交流与合作。

安思捷也表示，重庆在中国的地位非常重要，对澳大利亚来说也是一个重要的地区，并再一次强调了重庆与澳大利亚在教育和高新技术上的合作。

● “行走中国·201 6海外华文媒体高层重庆行”启动

5月20日，“行走中国·2016海外华文媒体高层重庆行”在巴南区正式启动，来自东盟、欧美等18个国家的23家华文媒体高层人士赴巴南区、綦江区、两江新区等进行实地参观访问，探访东盟国际物流大通道，记录重庆对外开放建设。

此次活动由中国新闻社联合重庆市人民政府新闻办共同举办。在重庆为期7天的时间里，华文媒体高层人士通过走访，围绕“一带一路”“长江经济带”“生态文明”内陆开放等国家战略，以及“重庆—东盟国际物流大通道”“渝新欧国际铁路联运大通道”“重庆长江经济带建设”“重庆生态文明建设”“打造内陆开放高地”等重大发展战略，开展主题路线集中采访。

● 港澳青年企业家担任“创业导师” 为重庆发展献计献策

5月26日至29日，港澳约90位青年企业家代表组成“2016创客之旅访渝团”来渝开展交流活动，在渝期间，进行投资考察、交流访问、公益活动，并与重庆本土创客精英一道研讨创新创业。

此次访渝团由渝港青年促进会会长、香港霍英东集团副总裁霍启山率领。重庆市政协副主席张玲于5月27日会见了港澳“2016创客之旅访渝团”一行，并参加了相关的交流活动。重庆市人民政府外事侨务办党组成员、主任助理王广成等重庆市相关部门领导参加了会见。

27日，渝港澳三地企业家代表汇聚一堂，交流发展经验。渝港青年促进会会长霍启山表示，愿意与重庆分享交流创业心得，推动渝港澳三地合作。同时，旨在吸引港澳企业来渝投资兴业，为渝港澳企业合作牵线搭桥，助力三地企业交流发展的重庆港澳青创空间也正式揭牌。霍启山等十余位港澳青年企业家被邀请担任“创业导师”，为三地企业交流发展献计献策。据悉，今年内，重庆港澳青创空间将在重庆开辟办公场所。

● 芬兰塞伊奈约基市代表团来渝访问

5月31日-6月2日，芬兰塞伊奈约基市市长乔马·拉森马基率团来渝访问，芬兰最大食品企业Atria集团董事、芬兰驻上海总领馆商务顾问等随团来访。

访渝期间，代表团与重庆市政府外事侨务办、市供销合作总社、市工商联、两路寸滩保税港区等开展工作会谈，与重庆农产品集团、保税港区多家进出口贸易和物流企业、重庆餐饮食品企业等探讨促进在渝新欧货运、冷链物流、肉类进出口、食品加工、农机开发、商贸等领域合作，达成诸多合作意向。代表团还专程赴江津区访问。拉森马基也表示，重庆城市发展成就令人印象深刻，双方合作潜力巨大。

● 意大利国庆日招待会在渝举办

6月3日晚，意大利国庆日招待会在意大利驻重庆总领事馆举办。重庆市政协副主席张玲在致辞中表示，意大利是重庆对外交往中十分重要的欧洲国家之一，意大利驻重庆总领事馆为推动两地各领域交流与合作开展了大量工作，成效显著。希望双方进一步加强交流与合作，力争取得更多成果。祝愿中意两国人民友谊长存。意大利驻重庆总领事马非同也对重庆各界在总领事馆开展工作中给予的支持表示感谢。晚宴后，来自意大利和中国的艺术家为大家带来了精彩的演出。

● 捷克共和国驻重庆签证中心开业

6月14日，捷克共和国驻重庆新签证申请中心正式运营，将为市民前往捷克等国提供便捷的签证服务。

据该中心负责人介绍，这里可办理90天内的短期申根签证，包括旅游、探亲、商务等类型。通过捷克的申根签证，可无障碍到26个申根国。签证办理时限为10个工作日。签证费用根据最新汇率核算，加上147元服务费，约合587元。办理时间为周一到周五的每天早上8点到下午3点，地址在渝中区临江门J W万豪酒店旁的海航大厦33楼。

捷克共和国驻成都总领事诺子博(M r.Zbynek Noha)表示，现在越来越多的重庆市民前往捷克商务、旅游、留学等，自今年2月1日起，捷克驻成都总领事馆对外签发申根签证以来，已办理了上千份签证。捷克驻重庆签证中心正式开业，将进一步密切双方在经贸、投资领域的合作，扩大在文化、旅游等领域的交流，为重庆市民带来便捷的服务。

● 第三届中意城镇化论坛在渝召开

6月15日，意大利驻重庆总领事馆在四川美术学院新校区举办第三届中意城镇化论坛。期望与中国加强在城镇化、设计、城乡发展、文物保护领域的合作。

此次论坛也是第六届中国（重庆）国际绿色低碳城市建设与建设成果博览会活动之一，以探索城市发展为议题，吸引了由意大利国家建筑—规划—景观—生态保护理事会(CNAPPC)对外事务负责人Livio Sacchi率领的意大利代表团来参加。意大利驻重庆总领事马非同表示，意大利和中国可以在城镇化、设计、城乡发展、文物保护领域，根据中国“和谐发展”的需要，广泛协作。

据悉，意大利驻重庆总领事馆与重庆市城乡建设委员会还签署了一项合作协议，主要涉及意大利与重庆相关领域的合作，包括组织官方访问，组织年度研讨会以及成立中意城镇化合作中心的可能性。

Australian Ambassador to China Visits Chongqing

On May 27, the Vice Mayor of Chongqing, Wu Gang met with Australia's Ambassador to China, Jan Adam at Westa College, Southwest University. Both sides had exchange talks in education, science, technology, food, fi nance. It was her fi rst trip to domestic capital cities since she took offi ce this February.

Wu Gang has put forward three-point cooperative proposal with Australia: fi rst, boosting existing projects, in particular biomedical and smart sensors high-tech cooperation.Second, strengthening cooperation in education. Third, Chongqing and Brisbane as sister cities should be used to encourage more activities, increasing cultural exchanges and co-operation.

Jan Adam said that Chongqing is a very important city in China, as well as to Australia, and both sides should focus more on education and high-tech cooperation.

"Walking around China – 2016 Chongqing Tour of High Levels of Overseas Chinese Media" has Launched

On May 20, the "walking around China - 2016 high levels of overseas Chinese media Chongqing tour" was officially launched in Banan district, all high levels of 23 Overses Chinese media who are from 18 countries of the ASEAN and Europe, went to Banan, Qijiang, Liangjiang New Area to visit the ASEAN international logistics channel, recording the opening up of Chongqing.

Hong Kong - Macao Entrepreneurs Offer Advice for Development in Chongqing as "Entrepreneurial Mentor"

From May 26 to 29th, a delegation of "2016 creation tour in Chongqing" of 90 young entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macau visited Chongqing, discussing and exchanging ideas of innovation and entrepreneurship with the Chongqing.

This visiting group was led by Eric Fok, the Vice President of Hong Kong Fok Ying Tung Group. Zhang Ling, the Vice-Chairman of Chongqing People's Political Consultative Committee, met with the delegation on May 27, and participated in related activities. Wang Guangcheng, the assistant to the Director of the Chongqing Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and leaders of relevant departments attended the meeting.

Delegation of Seinäjoki, Finland Visits Chongqing

May 31-June 2, Mayor of Seinäjoki, Finland led a delegation to visit Chongqing, board member of Finland’s biggest food company Atria Group, business counselor of Finland Consulate General Shanghai accompanied.

During the visit, delegation held talks with Chongqing Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Supply and Marketing Cooperative Head Office, and city Business Association, and Lianglu Cuntan bonded port, discussing cooperation in Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe freight, cold chain logistics, meat import and export, food processing, farm machinery development, and trade with Chongqing agricultural group, and other Chongqing catering food enterprises. The delegations also made a special trip to Jiangjin district. The Mayor expressed his impressive impression of Chongqing in urban development an achievement, and believed there is great potential in bilateral cooperation.

Italy's National Day Reception in Chongqing

In the evening of June 3, Italy's National Day reception was held at Consulate-General in Chongqing. Zhang Ling, the Vice-Chairman of Chongqing People's Political Consultative Committee said in her speech that Italy is one of the most important European countries that has foreign relations with Chongqing, Italy Consulate-General Chongqing has been carrying out much work in cooperation and facilitating exchanges in various fields and made remarkable results. She hopes to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between two sides. Sergio Maffettone, Italian Consul General Chongqing has expressed his gratitude for the support given in the work. The Czech Republic´s New Visa Application Centre Opens in Chongqing

On June 14, the Czech Republic´s new visa application centre in Chongqing was offi cially in operation, which will provide convenience for residents who are going to the Czech visa services.

According to the staff who is in charge of the Centre that it provide within 90 days of short-term Schengen visas, including tourism, visit, business. With the Schengen visa by the Czech Republic you can be accessible to 26 the Schengen countries. Visa processing time is 10 working days.Visa fee according to the latest Exchange rates, plus 147 Yuan service charge, total is about 587RMB. Processing time is from Monday to Friday at 8am- 3pm, address: VFS Global Visa Center, Room 33/F, HNA-Poly International Center, J.W. Marriott Hotel, 235 Minsheng Road, Yuzhong District.

Zbynek Noha, the Consul General of the Czech Republic Chengdu said, now more and more people visiting the Czech Republic, the Czech Consulate General Chengdu has processed thousands of visas ever since it started issuing Schengen visas on February 1 of this year. The opening of visa application centre in Chongqing is to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and expand exchanges in culture, tourism and other fi elds.

The 3rdSession of Italian Urbanization Forum Held in Chongqing

On June 15, Italy Consulate-General Chongqing held the 3rdsession of Italian urbanization forum in the new campus of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, expecting to strengthen cooperation in urbanization, design, urban and rural development, cultural relics protection with China.

It is reported that Italy General Consulate Chongqing also signed an agreement of cooperation with Chongqing Urban and Rural Construction Committee, mainly involving cooperation between Italy and Chongqing in related fi elds, including offi cial visits, organizing annual seminars and the possibility of setting up Italian urbanization cooperative centre.
