The end result of Education Reformation

【Abstract】A Chinese famous thinker, scientist Qian Xuesen, proposed a thought-provoking question: why couldn't our school always cultivate outstanding talents? This problem points out the misunderstanding of China's education, and the educators carry out plans and reformations again to solve the problem. However, no matter how education reform, we should go back to, that is, the evaluation system of education. Only a reasonable evaluation system can make education reformation play its real role.

With the rapid development of the society, the education is faced with the challenges and opportunities from all parts of society under the background of “modernization”, “globalization” and “diversification”. The level of education is a standard of the measurement of the degree of social civilization in a country related to the development of a country and the fate of the nation. Therefore, education is highly concerned by people. Chinese education has experienced lots of ups and downs of the development path, but the results of the reformation is unsatisfying. Today, in the face of the plenty of “good students” in our country with the record of formal schooling,but low ability;students studie or misded die to the pressure of study. People can not help but want to ask: “what is Chinese education?” In order to solve this problem, the state has carried out education reformation for many times.And the NPC&CPPCC in this year also put forward the slogan:focus on education reformation, promote education development. We know that education reformation is conducive to promoting the development of education and improving the education level, but how can we let the education reformation play its real role? The only effective way is to pay attention to the end result of education reformation and deepen reform of education assessment system.

The development of a country is the need for talent, but the number of outstanding talents in various fields in our country is limited.Faced with the huge impact of the world education,how to develop the education in China? Education is not only thing for a person or a family, it is a great cause for our country.To make education develop, we must carry out educational reformation. And any reformation needs to be evaluated by a kind of mechanism, and the education examination system has the function of evaluating the effect of education reformation. But only the proper assessment system can be a real evaluation of the role of education reformation. Therefore, as the end result of education reformation, only when the education assessment system is reasonable, the education reform can play its role. For a long time, our country do the assessment by examination. This system of assessment “manufacturing” a lot of high score students. Many universities recruit students according to their results of college entrance examination.Under this standard,schools can not select the students who are really suitable for the school.Therefore there is no talent.But the student who do not have good examination results but talented loose the opportunity to get further study.Simply taking the exam results to evaluate a student, is unfair.It enlarges the limitations of the education,and makes the education resources can not be rational allocation,and ultimately makes the school can not cultivate innovative talents, high skilled students and other outstanding talents.

At present, the foreign university enrollment mode is divided into 3 types: total score admission, high school enrollment and total score, secondary school enrollment. And foreign colleges and universities are very important to the overall strength of the students and their own quality.It helps a lot that the students' expertise, social activities, work and volunteer experience, performances and competitions, as well as various honors and awards. If students who have the potential to obtain the principal, the teacher or other famous people's recommendation, they are a great help for application. This assessment method in a certain extent reduces the students' learning pressure.And the students will not lose the opportunity to choose an ideal university because of the failure of a test. Assessment is more concerned about the integrated ability of students.It is conducive to reduce the generation of high-score students with low ability, and help to cultivate the talents for the society. Western countries have many outstanding talents in different fields, which benefit from their ways of education. From this we can see that the advanced level of a country is closely related to its own education level. And the level of education is closely linked with the examination system. A reasonable assessment system is helpful to the students' comprehension and diversified development. Therefore, it is a must to reform the assessment system in our country.

China has always been a “what to be tested, what to learn” oriented education model. But as a kind of educational evaluation method, the test is not the exam oriented education. Quality education can not be separated from it. The key is not whether to “test”, but rather how to “test”, that is to reform the examination system to a scientific assessment, which focuses on the students' ability in practice and moral aspects of the assessment. Deng Xiaoping once said that education should be oriented to modernization, the world and the future, so the education assessment system should be oriented to modernization, the world and the future. Education reformation should return to its goal, deepen the reformation of education assessment system and change the content of the assessment, so that the form of assessment is more flexible and diversified.
