In order to learn what the students’ life was like at night， I made a survey about it. I asked twenty students in our class what they were doing last night. Here are some of the results.

Jim said he was doing his homework between seven and nine. Then he watched TV for an hour. Mike was doing the same thing from seven to nine. Then he went to bed. Jane spent one hour on her homework. Between eight and nine thirty she was practicing playing the piano. It only took Bill about half an hour to finish his homework from seven. Then he played computer games for nearly three hours. He didn’t go to bed until eleven.

According to the results， most students have to spend one to two hours on their homework. That’s to say， their main activity is doing homework.
