1.教材分析
本课的教学内容是译林版《牛津初中英语》写作教学部分。通过A部分的图表展示Millie对学校活动的喜爱程度及喜欢与不喜欢的原因。学生需要参考图表信息和Useful expressions,完成B部分Millie 的日记。紧接着学生需要介绍自己的学校生活,将自己的学校生活在口头表达的基础上进行书面表达,培养和提高学生的写作能力。
2.学情分析
本课的书面表达学生在小学的学习中已经简单的接触过。该内容对基础较好的学生而言相对较简单,基础相对较差的学生也可模仿Millie 的日记,编写自己的学校生活日记。学生可通过范文的学习掌握有关这一主题的写作要点和技巧。本课应着重进行写前指导教学,通过写前结构、注意内容要点为学生的初稿写作做好充分的铺垫。在此基础上让学生进行独立写作,提高写作水平。
3.教学目标
(1)知识目标。进一步熟悉半开放式话题作文写作,巩固和丰富词汇和句型。
通过完成Millie的日记,完成自己的学校生活日记。
(2)能力目标。通过写作练习,培养思维能力和学习写作技巧,提高写作能力。
(3)情感目标。在写作中熟悉语言应用技巧,培养学习自信心。
4.教学重点和难点
培养和提高限时写作能力和作文修改能力,并反复阅读,完善自己的作文。
5.教学过程
Step1 Lead -in
Teacher(下文用“T”代替) shows some pictures and posters about school life .Students talk about them with each other in English.
Do you like it?
What activity is this in the picture / posters?
Why do you like/dislike it ?
Is your school life interesting / colorful?
T says:Today,Lets talk about our school activities.Do you get ready for it?
Step2 Chart- reading
T says:There are also many activities in Millies school. Look at Millies happiness chart in part A and talk about what activities does Millie love/like/dislike?
T says:Please read the test of part A.Can you tell me the reasons of her likes and dislikes?
Why does Millie like/dislike ...
Finish Part B according Millies chart .
T says:Millie is writing about her likes and dislikes in her diary.
Can you help her complete her diary ?
Read Millies diary loudly together.
Step3 While-writing
Read Millies diary carefully.
(1)What does she write in the first paragraph?(Its about her loves.)
(2)What does she write in the second paragraph? (Its about her likes.)
(3)What does she write in the Third paragraph?(Its about her dislikes.)
Students design their own happiness chart according Millies chart .
Work in groups of four.Discuss their likes and dislikes with each other.You should also tell the reasons.
Students try best to write their own articles. They can use some useful expressions and use Millies diary entry as a model.
Step4 Post-writing
Ask students to discuss in group first to find out shining points in the compositions.
Encourage students correct mutually.
Choose one or two compositions to correct in front of the class and analysis them.
Step5 Homework
Read and recite Millies diary.
Make a poster in groups and have a compositions.
6.教学反思
英语中的写作教学相对于语文的作文来说只能叫写话,对于初中生来说较为简单。但部分学生由于英语基础较差,不能很好地组织自己的语言,写作对于他们来说一直很难突破的。我不断尝试用新的模式去上写作课,力争让写作成为学生英语学习成果展示的窗口。通过书面表达一方面巩固单元学习内容,另一方面树立学生英语学习的信心,获得成就感。怎样把写作课上得精彩?怎样在课堂上与学生交流情感?带着这些问题去备课,有的放矢地去寻找素材是备课的重点,从孩子的角度去设计课堂才能上出充满活力的课。在以后的教学中我会继续探索适合我的学生的课堂教学模式,让作文课活起来,提高学生的课堂学习效率,提升学生的英语学习水平。
