金伯利钻石矿坑Kimberley mines in South Africa
南非金伯利是世界知名的德比尔斯钻石公司总部所在地，是世界上最早(1869年)发现金伯利岩型金刚石原生矿床的地方，现在世界上一些最大的钻石仍然产于该地。
金伯利钻石矿坑，从1866年至1914年，50000名矿工使用铁铲等工具进行挖掘，共挖掘出2722公斤钻石。目前，南非政府正试图将金伯利矿坑申请为一处世界文化遗址。
Kimberley in South Africa is where the headquarter of the world's famous jewellery company De Beers is, it is the world's oldest (1869) place that all primary ore of kimberlite diamonds are found, which now is still some of the largest diamonds in the world are produced in.
The Kimberley diamond mine, which 50,000 miners started to use shovels and other tools to dig from 1866 to 1914, and 2722 kg diamonds were found. Currently South Africa Government is trying to apply the Kimberley mines for a world heritage site.
