《牛津小学英语》4A Unit9 Part B、C&D主要学习一些心里感觉的抽象名词“hot、hungry、thirsty、cold、tired、ill”,询问别人状态如何“Whats the matter?”及答语“Im …”,以及解决方法“Heres a/an/some … for you.”及答语“Thank you.”,教学中创设“与小猴一起爬山”的情境展开教学。
教学过程设计如下:
Step I Warming up
师生问候,互动交流。
【设计意图:在Warming up中通过师生、生生间的口语交流,为教学热身创设了积极的氛围,培养学生用英语思考、交际的能力。】
Step II Presentation and practice
1.T:Today were going to go on an outing, OK? Do you know go on an outing? Go on an outing是郊游的意思。
2.T:Lets go on an outing, OK?
T:Look, we come to the hill, what can you see here?
S:I can see a big apple trees, hills, birds, flowers…
T:(指着太阳)Look, whats this? It is the sun.
T:(指着第一座山底)We are here, lets go on climbing.
(爬到第一座山顶,做热的动作。)Look the sun is shinning, hot, Im hot. Do you know the meaning of hot?
引出“hot”并把此单词卡片贴在第一座山顶旁。
T:当你看到别人状态不对时该怎么问呢,我们可以用Whats the matter?
3.T:(太阳移到第二座山顶)This is a monkey hill. Look, he is crying, why? Lets ask him something. (小猴子在第二座山里面)
S1:Are you hot?
S2:Whats the matter?
T:(播放录音)“Hungry, hungry, Im hungry.”
引出“hungry”并把此单词卡片贴在小猴子上面。
Then what can we help him? Do you have anything to eat?
S:Yes, I have a hamburger.
T:So we can say heres a … for you.
S:Heres a hamburger for you.
( 小猴说thank you,没过一会儿又哭起来。)
S:Whats the matter?
T:(播放录音)“thirsty, thirsty, Im thirsty.”
引出“thirsty”并把此单词卡片贴在hungry旁。
S:Heres a carton of milk for you.
(小猴说thank you,停止哭泣。)
4.T:Ok, lets go on.
(太阳移到第三座山头并开始下雨,做抖的动作。)
S:Whats the matter?
T:Im cold.
引出“cold”并把此单词卡片贴在第三座山头里。
T:Rain, rain, go away. Please come another day.
5.T:Ok, lets go.
继续向前走,走到苹果树旁。
(画红旗,oh,我们到终点了,伸懒腰。)Im tired, are you tired?
Lets have a rest.
T:Look there are so many apples in the tree. Lets catch some.
【设计意图:本环节设计了“和小猴一起去郊游”的情境,学生在真实的情景中很自然地学到本节课所要学的单词和课文,在不知不觉中掌握了新知。情境的创设大大吸引了学生的注意力,调动了他们积极参与的热情,学习兴致极高。】
Step III Consolidation
课前分八个小组,每组任意摘取一个苹果图片,图片后有一个学习任务,请各小组派代表来完成。
T:Well done! 祝贺你们完成此次任务,今天我们学习了单词“hot、 hungry、 thirsty、 cold、 tired、 ill”;句型“Whats the matter? Im…”和“Heres a … for you. Thank you.”学得很扎实。
【设计意图:利用chant、儿歌等形式加以巩固,既化解了本课的重难点,又活跃了课堂气氛。并通过游戏采摘苹果来加以巩固,寓教于乐,学生体验了学习的成功和乐趣。】
Step IV Homework
1.Copy six words three times.
2.Make a dialogue with the new words and sentences.
【设计意图:布置家庭作业,是一节完整的英语课不可或缺的一个环节。它起到了巩固知识,提高运用技能的作用。】
教学设计反思:
本节课通过教学情境的有效创设,使学生真切地体验到了hot,cold, hungry, thirsty , tired ,ill 等感受,单词的学习变得生动有趣。句型教学whats the matter? Im… 。Heres a … for you. Thank you.中,引导学生注意发问时的语气和神态,让语言学习变得真实而有意义。教学中,师生参与,同乐同学,实现了师生情感沟通,学生的学习热情得到激发。同时,Game和Chant的穿插使用,flash动画的放映,既有助于学生对语篇中关键知识点的理解、消化吸收,又极大地调动了学生学习兴趣,学生积极主动地参与到课堂教学的各类活动中,学得轻松愉快又扎实。
