Kung Fu Panda is a 2008 American computer-animated action comedy1 film produced by DreamWorks Animation. This film was first designed to be a parody2， later the director Stevenson changed his mind and decided to make it a sword-play film in order to make the characters much more attractive and distinctive3. The film makers took much of their inspiration4 from Sichuan Province itself. They spent five years on research and pre-production including spending some time in China. More Chinese elements are mixed in the film where the scenes of Chinas southwest Sichuan Province are set as the background. Spicy Sichuan food， acupuncture， and even some modern-day Chinese slang are smartly blended5 into the film.

《功夫熊猫》是由梦工厂（美国影业公司）拍摄，并于2008年上映的武侠动画片。起初，本片打算采用讽刺题材，之后其导演斯蒂文森为了使本片人物特征更为鲜明，更吸引广大影迷，决定将其拍摄为武侠片。电影制作人员从四川省得到了很大的启发，他们花了5年的时间进行调查和前期制作，还在中国呆了一段时间。此片中融入了很多中国元素，并以四川省为故事背景，川菜、针灸，以及当代一些中国俚语都被巧妙地融入影片中。

The story is set in the Valley of Peace， a fictional6 land in ancient China where anthropomorphic animals live here. There is a lazy and irreverent7 panda， named Po， who is the biggest fan of Kung Fu. At the beginning of the film Po dreams to be a great man with excellent kungfu. But in reality， he can only followed his father to sell noodles. However， he always keeps his dream in mind.

本故事的背景是和平谷——古代中国拟人化动物的栖息地。这里有一个慵懒、玩世不恭但热爱功夫的熊猫阿宝。影片的开始，阿宝梦想着练就一身好功夫，但是在现实中，阿宝只能跟着爸爸卖面条，然而他始终没有忘记自己的梦想。

One day， when an evil kung fu warrior is told to escape from prison， Po is unwittingly8 named the chosen one destined to bring peace to the land. Unwilling to believe that a big fat panda could be the Dragon Warrior， Shifu attempts to dispatch9 Po by berating and ridiculing10 him into quitting his training with the Furious Five， however， Pos optimism and insistence make his dreams come true. He joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols， the legendary Furious Five—Tigress， Crane， Mantis， Viper and Monkey—under the leadership of their Master Shifu Oogway. Meanwhile， the Furious Five set out to stop Tai Lung themselves， only to be overwhelmed11 and defeated， its up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming12 threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master into reality？ Po puts his heart—and his girth—into the task， and the unlikely hero finally finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths.

有天传言一个心术不正武功高强的人越狱了，阿宝在不知情的情况下被选为和平谷的和平使者。大家都不相信一个大个头肥胖的熊猫能够成为龙战士，师父也企图通过斥责并羞辱他以使他放弃盖世五侠的训练，然而阿宝积极的态度以及不懈的坚持最终使他梦想成真。他加入了世界功夫，在乌龟师父的带领下从师盖世五侠——老虎、仙鹤、螳螂、毒蛇和猴子。与此同时，盖世五侠出发去阻止泰龙，然而他们都被打败了。此时所有的希望都寄托到阿宝的身上了，阿宝能够实现他想要成为一名功夫大师的梦想吗？阿宝全身心的投入到这次任务中，看似不可能成为英雄的他最后却发现自己最大的缺点同时也是他最大的优点。

In the animated movie Kung Fu Panda， a young panda has dreams of becoming a warrior， but he has no fighting skills. Nonetheless13 he is chosen to defend his valley against a powerful attacker， so he learns as quickly as he can. We can come to the conclusion from it： you always get better at something when you have no choice. Meanwhile， there is another important factor in Pos success， that is trust. He trusts himself， and other people trust him as well. With their faith and confidence， they can create the miracle together.

电影《功夫熊猫》中年轻的熊猫梦想着成为一名武士，但他一点武术技能都没有。尽管如此他仍被委任去击败强有力的攻击者，于是他就尽其所能地以最快的速度学习功夫。从这一过程中我们可以看出：当无可选择的时候你就会逼着自己变优秀。同时，阿宝的成功还有另一个重要的因素，那就是信任。他相信自己能行，并且他身边的人们也对他寄予充分的信任，有了信仰及信心，他们就能一起创造奇迹。

阿宝：是啊，我留下来了。每次你往我头上丢砖头，或说我气味难闻，这很伤我的心。这最伤我心的是，我每天努力练习，却还是现在这个样子。我留下来，是因为我认为，如果还有人能改变我，能让我不再是原来的我，那就是你——中国最伟大的功夫师父！
