The Research on Classroom Teacher—student Effective Interaction

Abstract: The effective teacher-student interaction in class means the activities of teaching interaction between teachers and students which can stimulate students interest in learning, and make students throw them into the teaching process and obtain rich learning experience.

1. The Definition of Effective Interaction
The teacher-student interaction is an important part of the classroom teaching. According to the definition of effective teaching, we can understand the classroom teacher-student interaction like this: it is a kind of teaching exchange activity that occurs between teachers and students, can arouse students interest in learning, make students put into the teaching process actively and get the rich and quality learning experience.
2. The Basic Characteristics of Effective Interaction.
2.1 The specific goals
The long-term goal of the classroom teacher-student effective interaction is to promote the development of both teachers and students, especially the development of learners learning, cognition and sociality. The specific goal is to improve and deepen the learning contents and skills. Without the specific goal, the classroom interaction between teachers and students will become random, thus affecting the quality of interaction.
2.2 The continuous process
The classroom interaction between teachers and students is a continuous process that has the specific goal. In this process, the teachers behaviors have an impact on learners. In turn, the learners behaviors also affect the teachers judgment and understanding and cause teachers to adjust teaching contents and the way of activity to continue the interaction. Both of them affect each other and constantly adjust their behaviors to reach the goal finally.
2.3 A variety of forms
The teacher-student interaction is the most common type of interaction. And making demands, asking questions and rectifying the discipline are the most common means of interaction. Teachers should not only communicate with the whole class, but also focus on the communication with individuals and groups. At the same time, teachers should rich the interaction forms. They can use verbal language along with the body language in the class.
2.4 The obvious effect
In the public classes, we often see that the teacher continually asking questions to make the observer know that they focus on the classroom interaction. In fact, the effective interaction does not depend on how many questions teachers asked, but depend on whether the learners develop or not.
3. The Judgment Standards of Effective Interaction
3.1 Whether it builds a democratic and harmonious interactive atmosphere
Democracy and equality are valuable choices of the development of education in 21st century and the essential features of modern class and modern relationship between teachers and students.
3.2 Whether it is the real interaction
Effective classroom interaction should make the effect of classroom teaching achieve the following goals. The first is meaningful. The second is efficient. The third is normal. The fourth is generated.
