怎样让学生重视并喜欢上英语写作

广东省高考英语写作分为两部分:一是基础写作(15分);二是读写任务写作(25分)。可见写作在高考中的重要位置。那么怎么才能让学生重视写作并且提高写作能力呢?
一、了解影响作文评分四要素
首先了解高考作文评分标准。影响作文评分有四个方面:
1.影响给分的因素之一:作文的卷面,漂亮的书写是写作得分的亮点
2.影响给分的因素之二:文中所采用的语言材料(人靠衣装,文靠词装)
A.词汇的选择上要灵活新颖,出奇制胜;
把good替换成perfect, outstanding;用in one?蒺s opinion it is widely shared that…替换think等等
B.句型结构力求灵活多变;
. 唐山曾在二十世纪八十年代发生过一次大地震。
A terrible earthquake hit/struck Tangshan in the 1980s(用了hit/struck形象具体)
He got excited when he heard the news.(一般句式)
→Hearing the news, he got excited.(分词作状语,表时间)
C.使用强势句式,增强语句表现力。
1.Radio broadcasts didnt begin until 1920.(一般句式)→It was not until 1920 that radio broadcasts began.(强调句型)
2.He can work out this problem in this way.(一般句式)→Only by this way, can he work out this problem.(倒装结构)
3.影响给分的因素之三:行文的流畅
写作时一定要注意上下句的连贯,正确而巧妙地使用好连接词。
4.影响给分的因素之四:文章的思想
高考作文不仅考学生的语言运用能力,还得反应出学生的思想。
二、认真分析高考优秀作文范文
以广东08高考基础写作为例:发现写作亮点。
①Shooting, originated as a means of survival, developed into a sport only in the late 19th century. ②The sport, which first appeared in 1896, was ever suspended during the 1904 and 1928 Games. ③It was not until 1932 that the sport returned to the Olympic. ④However, not until 1968 were women first allowed to compete in the Olympic shooting. ⑤With the sport becoming more and more popular, it has grown steadily from just 3 shooting events at the 1896 Olympic Games to 17 today.
第一句用了过去分词作定语:originated as a means of survival; 第二句用到了定语从句:which first appeared in 1896;第三句用到了强调结构:It is…that…;第四句用到了倒装结构:not until 1968 were women first allowed to;第五句用到了介词短语(表原因):With the sport becoming more and more popular。
三、结合教材训练写作
不难看出,句子的亮点都是平时上课的重点。所以课堂上要讲透彻,练彻底。下面就本人在必修一Unit 5中的教学为例谈谈课堂教学和写作的完美结合。
先叫学生把所有的定语从句找出来,讲解并背诵。然后重点训练下列句型。
A.定语从句,特别是The reason why…is that…; B.倒转结构; C.强调结构
用刚才的句型来介绍我 (Linda)。学生很感兴趣,也容易完成。
1.Linda,我们的英语老师,贵州人,为了实现自己的梦想,1994年来到广东。(同位语+介词+动词不定式)
Linda, our English teacher from Guizhou, came to Guangdong in 1994 to achieve her dream.
2.她是一个非常勤奋的老师,总是最早到办公室最后走,为此受到学校领导的表扬。(两个定语从句)
She is a hardworking teacher, who is always the first one to come to office and last one to leave, for which she is highly thought of by her school leaders.
3.我们爱她是因为她把我们都当成她自己的孩子来看待。她从不吝啬时间帮助我们,为此我们感激不尽。
(①……的原因是;②定语从句)
The reason why we love her is that she treats us as if we were her own children. She is generous with her time in helping us, for which we are all grateful.
4.我清楚地记得遇见Linda那时是我一生中最困难的时期。(宾语从句+定语从句)
I can well remember that the time when I first met Linda was the most difficult period of my life.
5.我对学习失去了兴趣, 沉迷于网络游戏,对未来没有了希望。(分词结构)
I lost interest in my study, burying myself in computer games and becoming hopeless about my future.
6.是Linda 给了我怎样学好英语这方面的指导,同时鼓励我不要灰心。直到那时我才下决心好好学习。(强调句+倒装句)
It is Linda who/that offered guidance to me on how to study English well, and encouraged me not to lose heart. Only then did I make determination to study hard.
7.俗话说得好,“一日为师,终身为父。”我对你的感激之情无法用言语来表达。对于我来说唯一能做的就是努力学习。
As the saying goes, “One day a teacher, forever a father.” No words are strong enough to express my thanks to you. For me, the only thing I can do is to study hard.
我们每一个教师都要提醒学生重视教材,合理地利用教材。让教材为写作服务。提高写作能力不是一天两天的事,这是一个长期工程,需要我们师生共同在每日的教学活动中积累和运用,只有这样,我们在高考中才能写作优秀的英语作文来。
