Christmas in July, just like other festivals, is an event cele-brated by people in western countries, such as Australia and the United States. It is especially popular among the young people. The event was firstly put forward to stimulate the econom- ic consumption. But since the weather becomes warm during the summer in the northern hemisphere (半球), many people begin to crave for the atmosphere of cooler temperatures, gift giving and holiday spirit. From this we can say that Christmas in July has pro- vided them a good chance to satisfy this craving.
