The 12th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities will be held inSanya， Hainan Province from November 22 to 30， 2024. From July 8 to 13，the equestrian events of the Games were unveiled in the sub-venue in Zhaosu，northwestern China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The equestriancompetitions were divided into two main categories： competitive events andperformance events. The four competitive events included ethnic horse racingand horseback archery. A total of 229 athletes participated alongside 276horses.
