I have a shortcoming that I cant stick to something， until one day I changed.

I still remember one day last summer when I went mountain climbing with myfather. We started early in the morning. But， unluckily， it began to rain on the halfway.I got all wet through， feeling cold and tired. So I couldnt help complaining andwanted to give up. However， my father noticed it. He put his coat on me softly andencouraged me to continue with it. He said， “You cant see the fantastic sceneryunless you reach the top.”His words cheered me up. Finally we got to the top andenjoyed the beauty of nature that I had never seen before.

It is my father that has given me courage and confidence. Since then， I haverealized a truth， that is，“Dont stop halfway when you do something”.

我進步的故事

我有一个缺点，就是对事情不能持之以恒，直到有一天我变了。

我还记得去年夏天的一天，我和爸爸一起去爬山。我们一大早就出发了。但不幸的是，爬到一半的时候下雨了。我全身都湿透了，感觉又冷又累。于是，我忍不住抱怨，想要放弃。然而，我爸爸发觉了这一点。他把他的外套轻轻地披在我身上，并鼓励我继续向上爬。他说：“你只有到达山顶才能看到美妙的风景。”他的话让我士气大振。最后，我们到达了山顶，领略了我从未见过的大自然的美。

是我的父亲给了我勇气和信心。从那时起，我意识到了一个真理，那就是“做任何事情都不能半途而废”。
