Abstract:Our country is one of the largest energy consumers and carbon emitters in the world. In order to realize the “double carbon” goal, it is necessary to start from the calculation of carbon emission. This paper studies the carbon equivalent emission from fossil energy combustion from the perspective of factor input. The carbon emission data set is estimated according to the accounting range of IPCC(abbreviation of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) based on administrative boundaries. This paper calculates China’s provincial carbon emissions and analyzes their characteristics. Finally, it is proposed to establish a multi-scale carbon emission accounting system and timely establish carbon emission inventory from the perspective of household consumption, perfect the accounting technical details, optimizing the stock and increment of low-carbon factors, strengthen low-carbon policy support in underdeveloped areas, establishing the low-carbon energy technology innovation system, creating a low-carbon development regional linkage system, and improve the construction of carbon trading market system and other countermeasures.

Abstract: Since entering the threshold of modernity, the change of modernity, as an important historical variable, has affected the changes of Chinese society in all aspects, and “China-West” relationship in modern sense has also been formed. The perspective of “China-West” relationship presents China’s modernization process, which is the rich content of the pursuit of a better life. The pursuit of a better life has been elaborated in Western thought, and has long been an ideal aspiration in traditional Chinese culture. Since entering the new era, the great practice of a Chinese path to modernization has been promoted more and more rapidly, extensively and deeply, and high-quality economic and social development and the people’s pursuit of a better life have become an important part of the national goal and government responsibility. With the continuous transformation of contemporary China and the continuous advancement of a Chinese path to modernization, the mutual understanding and interpretation between East and West, China and the world are also being updated, and “China-West” relationship is still a series of realistic factors and practical variables that must be dealt with. This process will continue to demonstrate the important contribution of a Chinese path to modernization to promoting global social progress, building a community with a shared future for mankind and creating a new form of human civilization.
