On June 10, CSSC Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding delivered a 210,000 DWT Newcastlemax bulk carrier to Japanese Santoku Corporation in the form of "cloud" signature. So far,Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has delivered 10 ships this year, with 2.176 million DWT, ranking first among Chinese shipyards.
Coupled with the six 7000TEU container ships the company has undertaken this year (holding 32 orders of the ship type, ranking first in the world), Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has achieved the goal of completing over half production tasks in half the time ahead of schedule, it is even more precious that Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding is able to deliver such a remarkable report under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, which is of great significance to boost the confidence of China's shipbuilding industry,especially the Shanghai shipbuilding industry, in fully resuming work and production.
Overcome epidemic impact and ensure production
On May 16, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding organized production in accordance with the situation of the epidemic prevention and the"lightweight mode", orderly promoted the resumption of work and production in stages, and fully ensured the construction of key products such as the first domestic large cruise ship, 2.3 million barrels (MMbbl) of "generalpurpose" FPSO and dual-fueled ships,and achieved a series of phased results.
Having returned to work and production for nearly a month,Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has actively organized key node crashing work in"epidemic prevention and control +work and production resumption" mode,completed two ships, undocked two ships, docked two ships, laid down three ships among nine major production nodes, covering Newcastlemax conventional / dual-fueled bulk carrier,Suezmax crude oil tanker, Aframx product oil tanker, 7000TEU container ship and other products.
Up to now, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has completed delivery of six 210000 DWT Newcastlemax conventional power bulk carriers,two world's first 209000 DWT dualfueled bulk carriers, one 158000 DWT Suezmax crude tanker and one 12.3 MMbbl general FPSO, hitting 60% of the annual plan, laid a solid foundation for achieving the annual target .
Among them, "Perfect Antarctic Light" is independently developed and designed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding,with an overall length of 299.68 m,a molded breadth of 50 m, a molded depth of 25.2 m, a design draft of 16.1 m, a design speed of 14.2 knots,meeting the requirements of IMO TIERⅢ emission standard and the latest HCSR.
Offshore engineering projects such as 2.3 MMbbl general FPSO series ships were in orderly parallel,No.3 ship was delivered on January 21,and No.4 ship was in the continuous embarkation stage in the dock.Meanwhile, the JU2000E jackup drilling rig under construction is scheduled to be officially delivered in the middle of this year.
First domestic large cruise ship achieves a major node
On July 1, China's first large cruise ship built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding achieved the major node of the first main generator running. The main generator is the core equipment of the cruise ship. The main generator running is equivalent to the "heart"of the cruise ship beginning to beat,conveying energy and providing power for the other equipment systems of the whole ship, which marks that China's first large cruise ship has fully entered the equipment function commissioning stage from the outfitting and installation stage.
China's first large cruise is provided with five high-power generators, which, based on the special design of safe return, are separately arranged in the bow and stern engine rooms, the total power of the whole power system reaches 62.4 MW, similar to the installed capacity of a mediumsized hydropower station on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, to meet the energy supply requirement of 16 layers of accommodation and leisure area onboard and the ship navigation.In other words, the power object of an ordinary civilian ship is a ship, while the cruise ship's power system drives a mobile marine city.
In order to meet the function and layout requirements of the cruise ship, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding tackled many key problems and achieved innovations in the design stage of the main generator. Due to the limited overall layout of the engine room, diesel engine and generators are placed in different cabins,Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding adopted China’s first cabin penetration layout installation process, and first applied the laser measuring instrument to the shafting centering for acquisition and analysis of relevant data, ensuring the installation accuracy, and providing pivotal technical parameters for the cabin penetration layout.
Considering the huge weight of the generator, in order to avoid the impact of its own vibration on other equipment,Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding adopted the innovative design of misalignment elastic foot based on the distribution of weight and center of gravity of the cruise diesel engine, and obtained the best value of the elastic foot setting through calculation and adjustment,eliminated the vibration, and completed the horizontal adjustment.
The ship's main generator involves a lot of pipeline equipment, with limited installation space, though. Take the exhaust system as an example, the pipe diameter itself reaches 1600 mm, and 100 mm thick insulation should be laid outside the pipeline. The design team had to consider the impact of the exhaust pipe high temperature when solving the layout problem. Then the expansion joint and elastic suspension are calculated and analyzed, model selection is optimized, and ultimately the pipeline layout is solved.
In the process of promoting the project, the Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding construction team stuck closely to the node target, and conducted daily special meetings to track the production dynamics in real time, and flexibly coordinated production resources. At the same time, they set up the engine room operation area and debugging technology section Party members storm team. During the pandemic resurgence, team members resided in the factory and stuck to their posts,guaranteed lube and water feeding in an all-weather fashion, identified technical requirements related to the main generator running, strove for precious time for comprehensively resuming production, then actively promoted coordination of various completion progress of the mechanical premises, pressure test packages of more than 200 affiliated systems, more than 500 functional applications for inspection, went ahead firmly and surely, sought fast in stability, ensuring the realization of major nodes
As the design and construction unit of domestic large cruise ships,Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding pledged to take the main generator running as the main line, gradually carry out running and load test of the other four generators and coordinated operation of five generators, guarantee orderly progress of all nodes of the cruise project, ensuring safe, on-time and high-quality completion of CSSC’s"No.1 project".
