一、任務呈现

盐城市一家西餐厅拟在暑期招聘数名实习学生，要求具备一定的英语口语能力。下面是该店在报上登载的招聘启事：

假如你是盐城中学高三学生陈明，愿意应聘。请给经理写一封求职信，介绍自己并说明你愿意应聘的理由。

注意：1. 词数150 左右;

2. 可适当增加细节，使行文连贯。

二、任务分析

1. 该书面表达任务是写一封求职信，属于正式信函，所以应该注意书信的正确格式。

2. 求职信的措辞应当恰当，忌夸大其词或过于谦虚;结构安排应合理，做到详略得当，重点写清符合该职位要求的能力、资历。结合该题，行文前应认真审题，切不可遗漏要点;行文时对要点的详略作合理安排。

3. 在遣词造句上，应尽量使用一些较复杂句型和高级词汇，以提升文章的得分档次。

①“我从报纸上得知……”陈述的是过去的事实，因此该句中的learn应该用一般过去时，即learned。

五、英文求职信的写作要求

1. 掌握求职信的格式求职信属于正式信函，应该使用正式英文书信的写作格式。与中文信函的格式不同，英文正式信函应在信件的左上方写上写信人的信息，如住址、寄信时间等;在寄信人信息的下方写上收信人的信息。

2. 明确正文要点求职信的正文主要包含三个要点：首先写明信息来源及所要应聘的职位，并表达求职意向;接着写个人简介和个人能力，包括年龄、资历等等，这一部分为主体部分，应详写;最后感谢对方审阅自己的简历，希望得到面试机会。

3. 正确选用时态求职信的时态应正确使用。在叙述自己能力时用一般现在时;在提到资历或经历时，用一般过去时;在表达祝愿或希望时用一般将来时。

4. 恰当选用套句求职信的要点及结构一般都是固定的，使用的句型类型和习惯表达也类似，所以可以恰当选用一些套句，如I am writing to inquire opportunities for .../I believeyou will find me well-qualified.等。
