Guangxi checkpoints all resume operation to stabilize China-ASEAN supply chain

May 16， 2022 （China Daily） — On May 7， all seven road and one rail checkpoints in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region capable of cargo transportation have resumed operation for normal customs clearance， said Yang Chunting， the director of the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Three cities and eight counties and districts share the border with Vietnam， and some checkpoints， such as Youyiguan， Dongxing and Qinzhou Port， are convenient passageways for China to access Vietnam and other ASEAN countries. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic situations in areas including Baise and Dongxing， several checkpoints were temporally closed.
