请问“不要到处乱扔垃圾”是翻译成“Please don’t throw rubbish everywhere”，还是“Please don’t throw away rubbish everywhere”？并且这里的everywhere可不可以用anywhere来代替呢？

throw away rubbish意为把垃圾丢弃到一个装垃圾的容器里（to put the rubbish in a receptacle intended for rubbish）。而throw rubbish則可翻译成乱扔垃圾（throw it anywhere）。所以这句话要翻译成Please don’t throw rubbish everywhere。

另外，这句话不能翻译成Please don’t throw rubbish anywhere.因为not anywhere意味着你没有扔垃圾的地方。

我在一家外国网站上看到了美国前总统老布什去世的消息，标题是：George H.W. Bush dies at 94。在另外一家媒体上用的标题是： George H.W. Bush，41st US president Dies at 94。请问这两个标题为什么都用现在时呢？难道不应该用过去时吗？

报纸、网站的标题以及书中的章目常用一般现在时表示过去，以求生动。所以上述两个标题都用了一般现在时。再如这个标题：Avalanches kill 15 in Italian villages（意大利村庄15人死于雪崩）。
