王毅会见新加坡外长维文

2021年6月7日，國务委员兼外长王毅在重庆会见新加坡外长维文。

王毅表示，中国东盟建立对话关系30年来，双方合作取得丰硕成果，极大助力各自经济社会发展和地区和平稳定。新加坡在深化中国—东盟关系中发挥重要作用，中方对此高度赞赏。

王毅表示，中方即将迎来中国共产党百年华诞。百年来，中国共产党始终不忘初心，牢记使命，为中华民族谋复兴，为中国人民谋幸福，这是中国百年来浴火重生、不断发展的根本所在。中方愿同新加坡政府以及人民行动党加强治国理政经验交流，密切沟通协调，共同应对疫情考验和百年变局挑战，推动两国关系不断迈上新台阶。

王毅表示，两国要根据疫情形势，以灵活方式保持高层交往势头，共同探索在疫情长期化背景下恢复经济社会发展的有效举措。“陆海新通道”是两国合作的新亮点，将丝绸之路经济带和海上丝绸之路相互连接，彼此贯通，我们要共同努力将其做好、做实、做大、做强。希望双方尽快签署并实施好合作规划，为沿线产业链、供应链畅通及疫后复苏提供更大助力。

维文表示，热烈祝贺中国共产党成立100周年。在中国共产党领导下，14亿中国人民的面貌发生翻天覆地变化，这是一个载入史册的重要时刻。感谢中方在抗击疫情方面给予新方的大力支持。中国是东盟最大的贸易伙伴，新方愿与中方切实发挥“陆海新通道”重要作用，深化共建“一带一路”，共同促进地区和世界经济复苏。

双方还就缅甸局势等共同关心的国际和地区问题深入交换了意见。

On June 7， 2021， State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in Chongqing.

Wang Yi said， China and the ASEAN have engaged in fruitful cooperation since the establishment of dialogue relations 30 years ago， making a great contribution to each side's economic and social progress and regional peace and stability. China highly lauds the important role Singapore is playing in deepening the China-ASEAN relations.

Noting that China is about to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China （CPC）， Wang Yi said， over the past 100 years， the CPC has always stayed true to its original aspiration and kept its mission well in mind， working for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the happiness of the Chinese people， which is the fundamental reason for China's rebirth and continuous development over the past century. China is willing to strengthen the exchange of experience in governance and stay in close communication and coordination with the Singaporean government and the People's Action Party， jointly cope with the test of the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges of the once-in-a-century changes， and push the relations between the two countries to a new level.

Wang Yi said， the two countries should maintain the momentum of high-level exchanges in a flexible manner and in tune with the changing demand of COVID-19 control， and work jointly to explore effective measures to restore economic and social development in the context of the prolonged pandemic. The New Land-sea Corridor， a new highlight of cooperation between the two countries， connects the Silk Road Economic Belt with the Maritime Silk Road. We should join hands to make the Corridor better， bigger and stronger in a down-to-earth way. It is hoped that both sides will sign and implement the cooperation plan as soon as possible， so as to lend a stronger hand to unimpeded industrial and supply chains along the Corridor， as well as the post-pandemic recovery.

Vivian expressed his warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC， adding that under the leadership of the CPC， the lives of 1.4 billion Chinese people have witnessed breathtaking improvements， which is history in the making. He thanked China for its strong support to Singapore in the fight against the pandemic. China is ASEAN's largest trading partner， and Singapore is willing to bring the crucial role of the New Land-sea Corridor into effective play together with China， deepen joint contributions to the Belt and Road Initiative， and promote regional and world economic recovery together.

Both sides also exchanged in-depth views on international and regional issues of common concern， such as the situation in Myanmar.
