[Abstract] Objective To observe the curative effect of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione in the treatment of drug-induced liver injury caused by oral terbinafine. Methods A total of 93 patients with drug-induced liver injury caused by oral terbinafine admitted to our hospital from July 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into the treatment group, the control group 1 and the control group 2, with 31 patients in each group. The treatment group was treated with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione (static point:magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate 150 mg, once a day, 2 weeks/course; reduced glutathione 1200 mg, once a day, 2 weeks/course). The control group 1 was treated with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate alone, and the control group 2 was treated with reduced glutathione alone, of which the usage and dosage of both groups were the same as the treatment group. The curative effect, the improvement of main serum indexes of liver function (ALT, AST) before and after treatment and the adverse reactions were observed. Results After two courses of treatment, the total effective rates in the treatment group was 93.55%, which was higher than that of 70.97% in the control group 1 and 74.19% in the control group 2, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After two courses of treatment, ALT and AST in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before the treatment , with statistically significant differences (P<0.05); compared with the control group 1 and the control group 2 respectively, the decrease of ALT and AST in the treatment group was lower after the treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no difference of total rate of adverse reactions between the treatment group and the control groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione in the treatment of drug-induced liver injury caused by oral terbinafine can safely and efficiently promote liver function recovery, and the curative effect is satisfactory.
