智奥会展去年营收出现史上首次亏损

智奥会展集团最新财报显示,公司总收入从2019年的11亿欧元降至2020年的4.794亿欧元。集团董事长Olivier Ginon表示:“智奥会展40多年来都保持业务增长,在2019年这个高增长年份之后,2020年集团出现了史上首次亏损。”
除了疫情带来的大型聚会限制,一些会展活动本身的周期性也加剧了亏损。其中,智奥会展的“体验性活动”板塊收入为3.092亿欧元,同比下降48.5%。“展览”板块收入为6800万欧元,下降70.6%。“场馆”板块收入为1.022亿欧元,下降70.1%。2020年,公司旗下场馆正常运营的时间仅为八周。
Severe slowdown for GL events
At the end of 2020, the revenue of GL events amounted to 479.4 million, down from more than 1.1 billion in 2019. Olivier Ginon, GL events Groups chairman commented: “Following the quality year of 2019 that enabled us to achieve revenue of more than 1.1 billion, maintaining the trajectory of 40 years of growth, in 2020 GL events recorded declines in revenue and earnings, the first loss in its history.” Profitability was also impacted by the seasonal nature of the activity over the period as the epidemic evolved.
The GL events LIVE division had revenue of 309.2 million, down 48.5% from 2019. GL events EXHIBITIONS had revenue of 68.0 million, down sharply (-70.6%). GL events VENUES had revenue of 102.2 million, down 70.1%. During the year, the Group was able to freely operate its sites in Europe with no restrictions for a period of just eight weeks.
