浅析状语从句中的倒装用法

某些连词在引导状语从句时，从句需要使用完全倒装或者部分倒装结构。本文结合具体实例，探究了状语从句中的倒装现象，以使学生更好地掌握状语从句。＼

一、no sooner...than...， scarcely（hardly）...when（before）引导时间状语从句时，no sooner， scarcely（hardly）放在句首时，其后的句子的主语与谓语应互换位置，时态应用过去完成时;than 或者when（be⁃fore）后的句子不用倒装，时态用一般过去时。

例1：No sooner ________（have） he arrived inShanghai than his father ________（let） him go back.

解析：had;let。本题考查了“No sooner had +主语+done...than +主语+did...结构。”

二、however 在引导让步状语从句时，构成“how⁃ever（no matter how）+形容词+主语+谓语+其他成分”时，其所在的分句是部分倒装语序。

例2：___________（However/Whatever） hard youtry， if you can’t change from quantity to quality， youwon’t succeed.

解析：However。本题考查however引导的让步状语从句，其结构为“however（no matter how）+形容词+主语+谓语+其他成分”。

三、as 或者though 引导让步状语从句时，其意为“尽管”，如果将句中的表语、副词、动词原形、分词等成分放到句首，从句部分就要用倒装句型。可构成这些结构：

1.名词+as 或者though+主语+谓语，此结构中的谓语通常是系动词，句首的名词作系动词的表语，名词放在句首时其前不加冠词，即使名词前有形容词进行修饰时，也不加冠词。

例3：Famous singer as he is， he can’t write lyrics.=As he is a famous singer， he can’t write lyrics.

2.形容词+as或者though+主语+谓语，此结构中的谓语通常是系动词，句首的形容词作系动词的表语。

例4：Cold ________（as/while） it was at night， theyfell asleep soon because they did a lot of work duringthe day.

解析：as。本题考查as引导让步状语从句时，形容词放到句首的情况。本题中把表语cold放到了句首，故本空填as。

3.副词+as 或者though+主语+谓语，此结构中的副词是修饰谓语动词的，为了强调副词，可把副词放到句首。

例5：_________（fast） as you run， you can’t catchup with the plane.

解析：Fast。fast是副词，在从句中修饰谓语动词run，在as从句中可把副词放在句首，起强调作用。

4.动词原形+as 或者though+主语+谓语，此结构中的谓语一般是情态动词或助动词。

例6：_________（study）as he would， he still failedto enter the ideal university.

解析：Study。本题考查“ 动词原形+ as 或者though+主语+谓语”结构，故本空填Study。

5.分词+as 或者though+主语+谓语，此结构中的分词根据句子的需要可以是现在分词或过去分词。

例7：____________（surround） as the enemy wereby us， they still didn’t surrender.

解析：Surrounded。surround 与主语the enemy 之间是被动关系，故本空填Surrounded。

注意：as 在引导让步状语从句的时候，必须要采用部分倒装句;although 在引导让步状语从句的时候，不能用倒装句;though 在引导让步状语从句的时候，可用倒装句也可不用倒装句。

四、so...that 在引导结果状语从句的时候，如果把“so+形容词或副词”放到句首时，那么句子的主句部分应用倒装结构。类似的当such...that 中的“such+...”部分置于句首時，such 后的句子也要用倒装结构。

例8：So hard___________（did they study/theystudy） that they were admitted to the famous universityin their mind.

解析：did they study。本题考查so...that引导结果状语从句的用法，so hard置于句首时，句子应用部分倒装结构，故本空填did they study。

五、not until 在引导时间状语从句，且被置于句首时，主句应用部分倒装，从句的语序没有变化。

例9：Not until I came back from school _________（did my parents eat/my parents ate） with me.

解析：did my parents eat。本题考查not until引导时间状语从句时，主句部分应用部分倒装语序。
