Last month, under the leadership of Miss Fang, my classmates and I went to Qingan Memorial Hall, which is located in a small village in Rongcheng.
This is the first time that I have known about a woman hero named Zhang Jinglin, who was born in
Qingan. She joined the army at the age of 14, but unluckily, she was killed by the Japanese the next year. You could not imagine how such a little girl sent messages to the villagers and guided them to run away from the village in such difficult conditions.
When she was young, she was considered as a stubborn girl. After her father's death, she studied even harder than ever before and got better grades. When the Japanese came to China, she noticed the enemies bum her own village and then she became annoyed. Therefore, she tried every means to get in touch with Underground Party and soon offered to join the army. Hearing this, I was deeply moved by this young and brave girl. It is at that moment that I know why she is regarded as Liu Hulan of Jiaodong.
The old photographs and the objects in the hall reflected the fact that she is indeed a hero and that the young heroes have the strongest patriotism emotion. I have also felt a stronger sense of happiness. Thanks to these heroes, they have set good examples to us and brought us a happy life.
It is a pity that she was popular with people after 58 years. In my opinion, we teenagers should keep in mind that such spirit and culture is not only the pride for our city among young people, but also pride for us high school students.
What a special, meaningful and forgetful experience it was! I believe that the little hero will live forever.
