摘要: Wal-Mart is a giant in the international retail industry, is a classic success story of the industry supply chain, has been a role model for retail industry in various countries, but even so, Wal-Mart management still has room for progress. Therefore, this essay discusses the problems existing in the enterprise's own brand supply chain management and put forward corresponding solutions. First of all, organize the author to investigate the data and results of Wal-Mart in Chengdu, focusing on the relationship management, distribution management, procurement management three aspects of Chengdu Wal-Mart own brand supply chain management status, the chain of each risk points and problems, combing, analysis of the current problems, find out the root causes affecting the development and growth of Wal-Mart, and put forward the improvement measures of the problem.

Wal-Mart's support and training of suppliers is not enough. the efficient distribution center model in the United States cannot be effectively realized in mainland China. Centralized procurement at Headquarters and regional procurement have not achieved group cooperation, the scale advantage of headquarters procurement has not been fully utilized, and the corresponding regional procurement has not been more in-depth exploration of local supplier resources. Teamwork between the procurement and operation of the two departments has not yet been fully realized. Wal-Mart China's logistics advantage has not been fully utilized.

To improve the supply chain, Wal-Mart should establish long-term relationship with conventional commodity suppliers in high-volume procurement. In the case of benefit producets, Wal-Marts regular food sales in Chengdu are very large, such as snacks, condiments, beverages and so on. The above traditional food is characterized by high demand, long shelf life, beverages and so on . Wal-Mart as the core of the supply chain, should be in strict accordance with the standards of procurement and distribution of the above goods, in order to achieve maximum economies of scale, with suppliers to establish long-term and stable relations of cooperation, reduce procurement costs, and select a number of suppliers as substitutes.

Establish Alliance partnership with fresh food suppliers. it is necessary to carry out unified scientific management of suppliers in different regions and establish a fresh food supply chain with supermarkets as the main body.

As we all know, the most important link in logistics management of all supermarket chains is distribution. First, choose the right distribution model. This will not only help to reduce the cost of distribution, but also enable enterprises to reasonably integrate internal and external resources and improve logistics efficiency. Now, there are three main distribution modes, self-distribution, joint distribution and third-party logistics distribution. Wal-Mart's chain stores in the United States are more densely distributed and have many corresponding distribution centers, making distribution more efficient. But in China, the situation is different. China has large inland areas and fewer shop facades, scattered between provinces and cities, and the distance between shop facades is too far. Shenzhen and Tianjin are Wal-Mart distribution centers in China, however, it is difficult to maintain Wal-Mart's distribution in China by relying solely on these two distribution centers.

Wal-Mart's supermarkets in China should increase its distribution center, and according to the specific situation of Wal-Mart in China, change Wal-Mart's distribution model in China, the implementation of logistics and distribution with Chinese characteristics. Chengdu Wal-Mart Company can choose which logistics model to use according to actual needs, or some use a logistics model, some use another logistics model. Generally speaking, if the size of the company is small, the number of branches is small, the delivery volume is low, there is no need to set up a distribution center, you can use social distribution methods. but if the company is big and there are lots of stores, you need to consider setting up your own distribution center.

Compared with Wal-Mart's original operating procurement model, the flexible procurement model described here will be more flexible, able to adapt to market changes more quickly, and strive to achieve market share of the business procurement model. Establish a good "integrity-based" service concept. Honesty and good corporate image is the foundation of every large enterprise based on society. Honesty seems to be a double-edged sword, used properly, it will be easy to get the love of society, the enterprise quickly to the next level. On the contrary, if consumers buy products often have major problems, and this problem can not be resolved in a timely manner, the long-established image of enterprises will collapse in an instant, it is difficult to have the opportunity to turn over.
