The analysis of the text：

Lesson 16： “ We are with you！” is taken from Unit 3 “School Life”. Besides school activities and subjects， this unit also deals with Project Hope， and helping people. Lesson 16 is about helping classmates in need.

Learning situation analysis：

Students can express concern and care， but they need to learn more related expressions. After learning， I hope they can feel sorry for the unlucky people and be willing to help others.

Teaching objectives

Knowledge objectives：

1.All students can know new words “terrible，happen，lose，raise” and the phrase： “ come up with”

2.80% students can retell the story in an simple way and write a thank-you letter.

Ability and skill objectives：

1.All students can remember the new words and use the past tense to fill blanks.

2.All students can understand the story through filling and answering.

3.80% can learn a new way to show their concern and care. 60% can know more ways.

Moral objectives：

1.Students can think in others place and really feel how hopeless people can be.

2.Students are willing to help others; feel happy when helping others; be hopeful and thankful.

Teaching reflection

1.When teaching how to show concern and care， I should have given them more time to write the sentences down.

2.I should have WAITED for students to say more.Dont rush them.
