The analysis of the text:
Lesson 16: “ We are with you!” is taken from Unit 3 “School Life”. Besides school activities and subjects, this unit also deals with Project Hope, and helping people. Lesson 16 is about helping classmates in need.
Learning situation analysis:
Students can express concern and care, but they need to learn more related expressions. After learning, I hope they can feel sorry for the unlucky people and be willing to help others.
Teaching objectives
Knowledge objectives:
1.All students can know new words “terrible,happen,lose,raise” and the phrase: “ come up with”
2.80% students can retell the story in an simple way and write a thank-you letter.
Ability and skill objectives:
1.All students can remember the new words and use the past tense to fill blanks.
2.All students can understand the story through filling and answering.
3.80% can learn a new way to show their concern and care. 60% can know more ways.
Moral objectives:
1.Students can think in others place and really feel how hopeless people can be.
2.Students are willing to help others; feel happy when helping others; be hopeful and thankful.

Teaching reflection
1.When teaching how to show concern and care, I should have given them more time to write the sentences down.
2.I should have WAITED for students to say more.Dont rush them.
