Fisherman： I’m an old man. My name is Lai Laoba. This year， I’m 58 years old. I am a fisherman. But there’s only a little water in the river. I can’t fish. There is no rice at home. My children are hungry. They are very sad and they cry. Ah， where can I go fishing？

Well， where is it？ Peach blossoms（桃花）. There is a hill. Look， there is a hole there. Let me go in and have a look.

Some people in the Peach Garden：（sing together）In the Peach Garden， there’s my lovely country（家乡）. There’s so many peach trees. The water is so clear. Ah， country， I was born（出生） here. I love here ...

In the Peach Garden，an old man is telling a story to a child. Two children are playing the games. Some women are washing clothes. Some girls are singing and dancing.

A little child： Grandpa， grandpa， who’s that over there？

Girl A： Who’s he？

Together： Let’s go and see.

The people in the Peach Garden look at the fisherman.

The old man： Excuse me， where are you from？

A little child： Who are you？

Girl A： Your clothes are too old.

Girl C： Why are you so thin？ Look at us， we are so pretty！

Fisherman： I live in WulingYuan. I am a fisherman. It’s wartime（戰争） outside. But where is it here？

The people in the Peach Garden：（answer together）Here is the Peach Garden.

Fisherman： It is so beautiful！

The child and the old man：You see， you see， it’s so nice！ The hill looks like a green carpet. Look，look，it moves now！

Fisherman： What’s that？

The child： That cow is working in the field.

Fisherman： You’re so happy.

Some girls： （walk around and sing）Look， look， please look here！

Girl A： Look left， this river is clear.

Girl B： Look right， this sky is blue.

Girl C： Look down， the field is nice.

Together： The world is so great！

Fisherman： Ah，here is the Peach Garden.

Old man： Come to my home， there is much peach wine（酒）. It’s so nice.

The child： Come to my home， there are many peaches. They’re so sweet.

Girl A： Come to my home， there is some chicken.

Girl C： Come to my home， please. There are many things at home.

Together： Come to my home， please.

Fisherman： I have been here for three days. Now， I have to go home.

The old man： Yes， you must go back and have a look.

Girl A： You will leave， and I will give you some fish and chicken.

Girl B： You will leave， and I will give you some meat and eggs.

Girl C： You will leave， and I will give you some rice and noodles.

The child： You can’t tell anything about here to the other people.

Fisherman： Thank you. I won’t tell it to anyone.

Fisherman： There are too much food here. The place is quite good. I want to stay here forever. I must tell it to the satrap（太守）.  I will be the king（国王）here. Ha， ha， ha...

（Suddenly）Ah， where is the Peach Garden？ Where is it？ Well， where is my rice？ Where is my fish？ Where is my meat？... My god， there is nothing here.

（Cried）What a pity！
