Santa Claus Village is Rovaniemis best-known attraction. At this site， the citys most famous resident can be visited every day of the year.

Santa Park

Santa Park is near Santa Claus Village and is Santas own home cavern. It is located underground at the Arctic Circle. In the park， you can under cross the Arctic Circle by 50 meters underground， and meet a beautiful Ice Princess in the Ice Gallery.

Arktikum

Arktikum is one of Rovaniemis most recognizable buildings. The buildings iconic glass tube represents the frozen finger， and the finger points to the north.

Northern Lights

In Rovaniemi， you can see the beautiful Northern Lights in and around the city from mid-August until early April. A show might last from only a couple of minutes to several hours.

Reindeer

Reindeer are the icons of Lapland， because there are more reindeer than people！Its unlikely not to run into reindeer in Lapland， and they sometimes even wander near the city centre in Rovaniemi.

Bread Cheese

A must-eat on any trip to Rovaniemi is the dessert known as “bread cheese”. It has a sweet taste and usually is served with fresh cloudberries or cloudberry jam. Some call it “squeaky cheese” for the sound it makes when chewed.

北极光

在罗瓦涅米，从8月中旬直到来年4月初，你都可以在城市里面和城市周围看见美丽的北极光。每一次极光景象所持续的时间从短短几分钟到好几个小时不等。

驯鹿

驯鹿是拉普兰的标志，因为当地的驯鹿比人还多！驯鹿在拉普兰几乎随处可见，它们有时甚至会在罗瓦涅米市中心附近闲逛。

面包奶酪

到罗瓦涅米一定要品尝一种叫作“面包奶酪”的甜品。它口味香甜，常搭配新鲜云莓或云莓酱食用。因为咀嚼时会发出声响，也有人叫它“吱吱作响的奶酪”。
