“Thanks to the Flying Box, I dont have to walk for two hours along the mountain trail(小径)to school every day. I cant remember how many times I fell over into the thorn bushes next to the path in the cold black morning,”said Wang Ting, a 10-year-old pupil.

When diners ask for the bill in an urban Chinese restaurant, they are more likely to reach for their mobile phones than their wallets. This reflects the rapid spread of mobile payment platforms, which are pushing urban China towards becoming a cashless society, skipping credit cards.
In a survey of 1,000 urban consumers conducted by the Financial Times, 98%of respondents(受訪者)said they had used mobile payment platforms over the past three months.
For example, Alibabas Alipay(支付宝)was the most frequently used payment platform preferred by 79%of respondents. That is a far greater proportion than those who said they used credit cards(45%)or cash(65%).
These respondents said they most often used them for payments in supermarkets and shopping malls, but they are also popular for ordering food, buying travel tickets or eating out.
Unsurprisingly, the younger the respondents, the more likely they were to have adopted this relatively young technology: only 56% of respondents aged 35 or older said they prefer making mobile payments to paying via PC, even though almost all owned smart phones. In contrast, 88% of 18 to 24-year-olds preferred paying via their mobile device.
Mobile platforms are now taking advantage of the big data resources of their parent companies to expand business, and to challenge the traditional banks. Predictably, Chinas big banks are refusing to co-operate with the upstarts, limiting the range of services they are able to offer. Of course, their reaction is not surprising.

Your beliefs are very powerful and have the power to create or to destroy your life. In most cases, whatever you believe, is what you will become. If you believe that you are loser, that you never get a break in life, that you cant accomplish anything, these things will be your reality. Believe that you are unlimited, that you can do anything you commit to doing, and when you do, your accomplishments will know no bounds.
You control your beliefs, and that is how you finally control your life. This is a very important point. So how do you develop beliefs that will empower you?
Many of our beliefs come from our environment, the world we live in on a daily basis. If your environment is limiting your beliefs, then work very hard on changing it. If you are constantly around people who are negative and limiting, find other people to hang out with. Get around positive, successful people.
Beliefs also come from past experiences. That is why it is so important to experience success on a regular basis. Set small, achievable goals, and then try your best to reach them.“I will finish this project by early afternoon.”“I will make six calls on the phone in the next hour.”“I will exercise for 20 minutes tonight.”When you start to experience success, then you start to believe in success, and that leads to more and bigger successes.
Beliefs come from knowledge. The more you learn, the more things you will know to be possible. Always take advantage of opportunities to learn something new. It will bring new possibilities into your beliefs and your life.
Most importantly, you can develop new beliefs by setting and visualizing goals for your life. Define(使明確)your goals clearly. Then, in your mind, see yourself achieving them in all of their sensory details. Your beliefs will lead you to their reality.
32. What does the first paragraph mainly discuss?
A. Our beliefs are unlimited.
B. Our beliefs have great power.
C. Our beliefs can destroy our life.
D. Our accomplishments are no boundary.
33. What does the author advise us to do to experience success?
A. To hang out with successful people.
B. To set and visualize goals for your life.
C. To establish aims to be realized easily.
D. To take chances to learn something new.
35. What is the most important about your beliefs according to the text?
A. To make great efforts to achieve them.
B. To try to experience success regularly.
C. To gain as much knowledge as possible.
D. To produce new beliefs by imaging goals.
35. What may be the best title for the text?
A. Why our beliefs are so powerful
B. How our beliefs can be developed
C. The relationship between beliefs and goals
D. The factors that prevent us from living better

21. D 事实细节题。由题干中的Jill Nussinow可定位到第一个小标题段落,又由If possible, grow your own or shop at a farmers market(如果可能,种自己的蔬菜或者在农场专卖点购买蔬菜)可知,选D项。
