如何在小学英语教学中培养学生的思维品质

一、Part 1 Teaching Material

(一)教材地位

《新维度英语》是新一代英语教育体系,遵循 “多元目标”的理念。在本课时中主要通过学习wash your hands的语块,让学生学会正确的洗手方式,并用英语描述这一过程,通过对日常行为的引导,让学生体会养成良好习惯的重要性,为学生品格培养以及今后的教材学习打下了良好的基础。

(二)本课设计指导依据

英语学科核心素养,主要包括语言能力、思维品质、文化品格和学习能力四个方面。而思维品质的发展是当今课程改革和英语教师在课堂教学中热点关注的能力培养,探究如何发展学生的思维品质,既可以丰富学生的思维方式,提供更多有效地学习策略,又能为学生的终身发展奠定坚实的基础。

(三)教学内容

It mainly deals with the key words:food,need,forget.

It deals with the sentences pattern:I need to……Dont forget to…….

本堂课通过创设情境介绍认识本班同学Lucas,以及他的好朋友Luna和Feifei,从而引出新课,并采用了3个学生实际生活的视频导入新课句型,给学生一个生动直观的语言环境,帮助学生理解抽象单词need和forget,并让学生懂得在实际生活中运用句型I need to……和Dont forget to……我把课堂的主角交给了学生,让学生大胆展示对话内容,以及展示洗手海报是本节课的亮点。并适时情感渗透,培养学生能够用英语描述正确的洗手方式;学生能在卫生间表现出良好的行为习惯,并体会养成良好行为习惯的重要性。

(四)学情分析

二年級的学生,有一定英语基础,他们对英语学习兴趣较高,学生正处于思维品质养成的启蒙阶段,有着自己的智能发展规律和特点,如何在小学英语教学中培养学生良好的思维品质,对于二年级的学生显得尤为重要。我在课堂上以表扬鼓励为主,注重培养学生的思维品质。

二、Part 2 Teaching aims

(一)任务目标

Students can know and describe the way to wash their hands in English.

Students can behave properly in the washroom.

(二)体验目标

Students realize the importance of good behavior.

Students understand public awareness of environmental protection.

Key-points

1.Students can listen,speak and read the words:food,need,forget.

2.Students can use the sentences:I need to……Dont forget to…….

Difficult points

1.Students can describe the way to wash their hands in English.

2.Students make the posters about‘When do you need to wash your hands?and describe their posters.

三、Part 3 Teaching and Learning Methods

1.Situational teaching Method

创设了真实语境(从同班同学Lucas,引出Feifei,再导出Feifei与妈妈的对话),让学生在认知上,情感上真正与所学语言紧密结合。

2.Task-based teaching method

教学设计以任务为核心,既有“做事”的任务(学会正确的洗手方式及步骤),又有“做人”的任务(体会并养成良好习惯的重要性,培养公共环境意识)。

3.Group cooperation method

Make and describe the poster.

Teaching aids:

Pictures,flash cards,ppt,the blackboard,some food.

四、Part 4 Teaching Process

Step1.Greeting and warming up

I will say hello to my students.

I will bring real food to help students understand the meaning of food.Then introduce our game:Food is ready.

I will play an English song‘Wash your hands.

Step2.Leading in

I will lead students to watch the video of one student–Lucas。and then introduce his friends Feifei of the lesson and another student- Luna.

Design purpose:通过创设情境,让学生在认知上,情感上真正与所学语言紧密相结合。

Step3.Presentation

I will show the video of Lucas to students,and lead the new word “need”,

Teach the meaning and pronunciation of‘needby English game-Litter teacher

Task1:I will make a situational:When you wash your hands,what do you need to do?

Design purpose:通过情景创设,引发学生思考“当你洗手的时候,你需要做什么?”结合本单元所学Wash your hands的四个步骤,让学生把语块运用在句型I need to……中。达成本课任务目标:学生能用英语描述正确的洗手方法。

I will show the video of Luna,and lead the new word‘forget,

Teach the word‘forget by the English game-Magic ear.I show a picture,let students to think about‘Dont forget to turn off water, after washing your hands.

Design purpose:通过观看Luna好习惯视频,让学生在真实的语境中理解forget,并借助英语游戏Magic ear教授单词forget.引出本课品格目标:让孩子养成勤洗手的好习惯,学生通过观察图片懂得洗手后不要忘记关水龙头,培养学生的公共环境意识。

I will make a situation:‘When you go to the toilet,you dont forget to______.

I will ask students to think about the question,and practice the sentence‘Dont forget to……

Design purpose:教学中做到词不离句,复现本单元的有关卫生间的行为习惯语块,鼓励学生将其运用到句型Dont forget中。从而达成本课任务目标:学生在卫生间表现出良好的行为习惯。

Step4.Practice

I will give students two tasks.

Task1:Do the pair work and practice the dialogue.

Task2:Ask students to do the role play.

Design purpose:运用任务型教学法,让学生进行小组对话练习,回归到文本,加强学生对语言学习的输出。鼓励学生进行角色表演,进行有效课堂评价。

Step5.Extension

Let students think and talk about‘when do you need to wash your hands?

By the video,help students find the answer and introduce the Global Hand-washing Day

Design purpose:啟发学生思考:在生活中哪些场景是应该洗手的?培养学生良好的卫生习惯,并拓展西方文化知识:世界洗手日。

Step6.Development

1.Group work:Make a poster ‘When do you need to wash your hands?

I will organize students to do the group work. Four students in a group,paste photos first,according to the pictures,and write the sentence,then perform and introduce their posters.

Design purpose:通过小组制作做“When do you need to wash your hands?主题海报的活动,并达成本课体验目标:勤洗手好习惯的重要性,培养了学生的合作意识。

Step 7 Homework:

1.Listen,read and perform the dialogue.

2.Talk about your poster.

设计意图:复习巩固本课知识,让学生能在生活中综合运用。
