不丹王国(The Kingdom of the Bhutan)在梵语中意为“西藏的边陲”，又称神龙之国、森林之国、花卉之国 、云中之国。 国土总面积3.8万平方千米，地处喜马拉雅山南坡。与中国、印度接壤。全国划分为4个行政区、20个宗(县)，北部为高山，南部较低的山区属亚热带气候，湿润多雨，中部河谷区，气候温暖。总人口70万左右，不丹语和英语为官方语言。藏传佛教为国教，占两成的尼泊尔族居民信奉印度教。首都廷布(Thimphu)是全国的政治、宗教中心。不丹的国家元首为国王。不丹的国庆日为12月17日，国歌为《皇家颂歌》。

游隼（Peregrine Falcon）是中型猛禽。体长41～50厘米。翅长而尖，眼周黄色，颊有一粗著的垂直向下的黑色髭纹，头至后颈灰黑色，其余上体蓝灰色，尾具数条黑色横带。下体白色，上胸有黑色细斑点，下胸至尾下覆羽密被黑色横斑。飞翔时翼下和尾下白色，密布白色横带，常在鼓翼飞翔时穿插着滑翔，也常在空中翱翔，野外容易识别。
