山城，如同血脉偾张的青年，繁华在向新高度节节攀升，城市不断刷新的高度，交通也向高空发展……

在摄影师周济的镜头中，高架、大桥、地铁等一条条“水陆空”脉络让城市交通网络逐渐四通八达，也在潜移默化之中刷新了人们对高度和距离的概念。

如今的城市在奋力生长、在日新月异的变化中，高楼下那片吊脚楼也不忘给我们留下一点传统文化的基因。

1979年高考前，母亲那始终温情的目光，给了周勇前行的信心；40年前，李正权每天要坐一个多小时的船，才能到江对面的望江厂上班；32年前，第一次接待海外游客时，导游袁世云准备了三个多月；24年前，浙江人顾志康第一次站在菜园坝，看到的是满眼的机会；渝中区筷子街的秦长生，追逐着“跑片员”，与电影相伴度过了青春期；“90后”女孩钟敏和刘娇，出生在改革开放取得丰硕成果的年代，他们的生活有着前辈所未曾拥有的更多选择，他们的未来充满无限可能……

时代大潮滚滚向前，每一个人都像是其中一朵小小的浪花，汇聚、奔腾， 折射着时代的波澜壮阔。

Zhong Ming and Liu Jiao, girls who were born in the 1990s when China yielded fruitful results from the reform and opening up policy, are embracing unlimited possibilities as they now have access to more options that were never offered to their previous generations.
