We’re in Prague!—Kaka's Diary

We were in Prague! Mom wanted to go to the Old Town Square. I asked Dad how old it is. He told us, “it is really old.” “Older than me?” I asked. He said, “of course.” “Older than you?” “Yes.” “Older than Grandpa?” Dad did not answer.This must mean there are no words to describe how old it is.

我们来到了布拉格！妈妈想去“老城广场”。我问爸爸那个广场有多“老”。他告诉我们:“真的很古老。”“比我老吗？”我问。他说：“当然了。”“比你老吗？”“是的。”“比爷爷还老吗？”爸爸没有回答。这一定意味着没有词语能形容它有多古老了。

We rented bicycles and rode to the Old Town. Mom said that the Old Town Square would be very exciting. “Why?Is it shaped like a square?” I said. “You will see.” She said.

我们租了自行车，骑车去老城广场。妈妈说老城广场会很激动人心。“为什么？是因为它形状像个正方形吗？”我问。她说：“你马上就会知道的。”

Later I found that the Old Town

Square is in fact an open area with music. Coco and I swayed to the music,Mom and Dad clapped their hands.

随后，我发现老城广场其实是一个开阔的音乐广场。可可和我随着音乐摇摆起舞，妈妈和爸爸拍着手。

However, I was not a good dancer,

I stepped on Coco’s feet. “Ouch!”

She burst into tears while the music played its last note.

What a wonderful day in Prague!

不过，我跳得不好，我踩到了可可的脚。“哎哟！”随着音乐的最后一个音符终止，她放声大哭了起来。

这真是布拉格“美好”的一天！
