You Jiehui was born in 1966 in Jianou, Fujian Province, and now settled in Chenzhou, Hunan Province. He has engaged in stone carving, root art for nearly 30 years. To learn the art of carving, he has been in Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hunan area to find famous teachers. His creative style is mainly "skillful", advocating the "seven minutes into a three-point carving" artistic creation concept,according to local materials, with natural "pebbles"as raw materials, fully use its natural form. He also uses exaggeration to show his ideas.And learn from the masses and the folk tradition bring forth the new, he forms his own unique artistic style. At the same time, in his works, regional culture has created a new category of art, called "cobblestone carving", he is called "the first person in Chinese cobblestone carving". On the basis of inheriting the traditional culture, he has incorporated the modern idea. His works are also widely used in urban construction. He skillfully carved stone, presented to the world one by one exquisite works of art.
