This picture open up form of artistic expression in the harmony in poetry , calligraphy , painting and seal cutting, and this an important significance of epoch-making in history of painting. It just started from the Song Dynasty that stone appreciation begin to be an independent subject and appear in the Chinese painting,including some Literati painters such as Su Dongpo also have drawn the picture of stone.The popular painting stones at that time give first place to the gardening and stony peak,the shape mainly give priority to traditional ideas,all of these can illustrate that the concept of the classic stone appreciationhas already became popular at that time.
