In Memory of the 40th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening–up, the 10th Anniversary of the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake and the 5th Anniversary of the 4.20 Lushan Earthquake

The year 2018 is the 40th anniversary of the Reform and Opening–up, the 10th anniversary of the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake and the 5th anniversary of the 4.20 Lushan Earthquake. In order to thoroughly conclude China’s practical experience and theoretical innovation in the era of Reform and Opening–up and socialist modernization, and to study the social impact of major disasters and the inherent laws of earthquake relief and post–disaster reconstruction,Contemporary Social Sciences hereby calls for related academic papers both at home and abroad.

Requirements:

1. Both Chinese and English papers are acceptable. Chinese papers will be translated into English by our staff. If you prefer to submit your own version of English translation, please also attach the original Chinese paper to it. Contributions may also include Chinese papers which are already published on domestic academic journals and represent a high academic level of Chinese philosophy and social sciences, with the prior consent of the original publisher. We will notify you of whether your contribution is accepted or not within three months. If you fail to receive a notice of contribution acceptance beyond that period, you will be free to deal with your paper. Once your paper is accepted, we will pay you for it and give you two copies of the latest issue.

2. Please clearly indicate your research theme or focus in your contribution. All contributions must strictly follow the academic norm, and the laws and technical specifications of the PRC concerning copyright and the use of texts, punctuation marks and figures. Please also provide us with your personal information such as title, abstract, keywords, name, date of birth, professional title & position, academic qualifications, mailing address & post code and telephone number. If your contribution is part of a funded research program, please indicate the fund name and its reference number. The Contemporary Social Sciences shall reserve the right to make corrections and deletions of your contribution. If you disagree with such modification,please specify.

3. Please make sure that your contribution does not involve any copyright problem,academic misconduct, breach of NDA, or authorship dispute. The author takes sole responsibility for paper.
