I havea lot of（许多）friends, but Annie is one of my best friends.She is not very pretty but she iswarm-hearted（热心的）. We knew each other in thekindergarten（幼儿园）. She was the tallest in our class at that time. Shewas good at（擅长）studying and skipping（跳跃，跳绳）while bad atlong-distance（长距离的）running.

Now we are in thesame（同一的）grade. She is friendly to me and

treats（对待）me sincerely. When I am happy, she is also happy with me. When I am sad,she alwayscomforts（安慰）me. When I amdefeated（失败）, she alwaysencourages（鼓励，支持）me. When I amdown（沮丧的）, she alwayspullsmeup（振奋）.Although wequarrel（争吵）sometimes,we still keep a goodrelationship（关系）. We can know each other better after theargument（争吵）. When my birthday comes, she always sends me a special gift.

I willcherish（珍惜）this best friend forever.
