Good Old Pot旧壶好用

One day, half a year ago when our boss was out,iaccidentally broke the purple sand teapot on his desk.iquickly ran outside and spent forty dollars (300 yuan) to buy an identical one. Today, while chatting my boss pointed at that exact pot saying, “I never imagined that this cheap, two dollar (10 yuan), garbage would actually be so useful.”

半年前的一天，老板不在公司，我不小心把他桌上的紫砂壶打碎了。我赶紧跑到外面，花300块钱买了个一模一样的回来。今天闲聊时，老板指着茶壶说：“想不到这几十块钱的地摊货还挺好用的。”

Equality众生平等

On vacation we visited a tourist spot that had a temple inside, so we decided to swing through. When we were buying the entrance tickets,iasked the cashier if they sold student tickets. The ticket seller’s reply was a real classic,“All creation is equal in the face of Buddha; there are no student tickets.”

去旅游，景点里有一座寺庙，于是顺道去寺庙玩。买票时，我问售票员，有学生票吗？结果售票员的回答超经典：“佛祖面前众生平等，没有学生票。”

Awkwardness尴尬

Ying invited Lili over for dinner; afterwards she was helping clean up when she accidently broke a delicate saucer. Ying’s husband, seeing Lili’s embarrassment, tried comforting her saying, “Don’t worry about it, that saucer is a piece of junk.” Who would have imagined, on hearing this Lili became even more awkward. Ying tugging at her husband, whispered, “Lili gave us that set of tableware as a wedding gift.”

丽丽到同事小英家做客，饭后她帮忙收拾时，不小心打碎一个精致的碟子。见丽丽有点尴尬，小英丈夫忙安慰她：“没关系，这个碟子不值钱。”谁知听了此话，丽丽更加尴尬。小英拉了拉丈夫，悄悄地说：“这套餐具就是我们结婚时丽丽送的。”
