Absent-minded Professor

An absent-minded professor came home very late one night. When he got to his door， he realized he had forgotten his key. He knocked and knocked until finally his wife opened the door. Since it was very dark， she did not recognize him and explained， “Im sorry， sir， but the professor is not at home.” The professor， absent-minded as ever， replied， “Well， Ill come back tomorrow.”
