Three Little Butterfly Brothers

Once there were three little butterfly brothers，one white，one red，and one yellow. They liked playing in the sunshine and dancing among the flowers in the garden. They never felt tired because they were so happy.

One day，there was a heavy rain，and it wetted their wings. They flew home，but the door was locked and they couldnt find the key. So they had to stay outside，and they became wetter and wetter.

They flew to the red and yellow tulips and said，“Friend Tulips，will you open your flowers and let us in till the storm is over？”

The tulip answered，“The red and yellow butterflies may come in，because they are like us，but the white one may not come in.”

But the red and yellow butterflies said，“If our white brother may not go into your flowers，well stay outside in the rain with him.”

1. feel tired感到疲惫的

动词feel的意思是“感覺，感到”，过去式为felt。feel后面可以接形容词，如：happy，sad，tired；也可以接名词，如：pain（疼痛）。例如：

If you feel tired，you can have a rest. 如果你觉得累了，可以休息一下。

I feel pain here. 我感到这里疼。

2. a heavy rain一场大雨

当rain表示“雨水”时，是不可数名词，可以用a lot of，little修饰；当表示“一场雨”时，可作为单数名词，前面加冠词a。例如：
