Children’s Day：A Special Day for Children

Different countries celebrate（庆祝） Childrens Day on different days. The International（国际的） Childrens Day is on June 1st.

In China，people celebrate Childrens Day on June 1st. Schools usually hold（举行） many activities（活动） such as childrens performances（表演），camping（野营），or watching free（免费的） movies on Childrens Day.

In Mexico，people celebrate Childrens Day on April 30th. On this day，children will bring（带来） their favorite foods to school and share（分享） them with their classmates. There are special（特别的） activities for children in parks and sports centers（体育中心）. Also，families will give presents to children.

In Japan，people celebrate Childrens Day on November 15th. It is a national holiday for both boys and girls in Japan. Besides（除此之外），Japan also celebrates Girls Day and Boys Day.

In Thailand，people celebrate Childrens Day on the second Saturday in January. There is a different theme（主题） about Childrens Day each year. On this day，many government（政府） offices are open to children and their families. And children can go to zoos and ride buses（乘车） for free.
