Huang Baiqing Former Director of the Guangdong Water Resources Bureau under Inves tigation

Two senior officials and a business executive were placed under investigation for serious violations of Party discipline and State laws in the southern province of Guangdong, according to a statement from the provinces top anti-graft body.
The officials and business executive who have been discharged from their posts for further investigation include Huang Baiqing, former director-general of the Guangdong provincial department of water resources. Chen Da, a member of the Party committee of Guangdong provincial department of justice and director of Guangdongs administration of drug rehabilitation; and Wen Naizhan, deputy general manager of Guangdong Co of China Mobile.
The statement that was released on the of- ficial website of the Guangdong provincial commission of Party discipline inspection did not reveal details of the cases.
It is reported that Huang Baiqing, former head of the Water Resources Department of Guangdong Province, took bribes and gifts totaling 200 million yuan. An investigation by the discipline inspection department found relatives had been a conduit for graft.
Huang Baiqing established a corruption network in his family. He exercised power, while his wife accepted bribes and their son laundered money in foreign countries.
On holidays and festivals, Huang Baiqing remembered those who had not given him money and “invited” them to visit.
