Gou Zhongwen Named Director of State General Administration of Sport

On November 21， Gou ZhongWen formally replaced Liu Peng at the helm of the state general administration of sports， served as director of the agency.

Gou， 59 years old， his last job was the deputy secretary of municipal party committee of Beijing.

In May 2016， the then Beijing municipal committee， municipal party committee， secretary of education， Zhongguancun administrative committee of the party group secretary Gou ZhongWen worked as deputy secretary of municipal party committee of Beijing.

Born in Jun 1957， Go is from Zhenyuan， Gansu. Gou is a trained electrical engineer， he got a doctor degree of management science.

In 2002， Gou officially stepped into the official career， serving as a former vice-minister of ministry of information industry. In 2008， institutional reform of the state council， the ministry of information industry into a new ministry， Gou worked as vice minister of ministry.

Gou also served as the Beijing 2022 Olympics and winter paralympic games organization committee executive chairman.
