Chongqing and Pest Province (Hungary) had signed the sister city’s Entente Cordiale on 22th Oct. 2010. Budapest is the capital of Hungary, the central of politics, business, transportation, and the resort for all tourists.
Budapest is named as “Paris of Eastern-Europe” and “Pearl of Danube”. There are important scen-ic spots on the bank of Danube. Two districts Buda and Pest on the city’s south and north. There is bunch of scenic spots on the Buda’s castle mountain, a lot of them are magnifi cence castles and palaces, which made with delicacy and significances. Tourists could have a overlook of the whole city on the castle mountain. There are music institution and opera house have the extraordinary interior design and strong aesthetic atmosphere, which good for art lovers. The world-renowned Mátyás Templom, it listed as World Heritage by UnesCo in 1987. The beautiful Halászbástya lo-cated between the Mátyás Templom and Danube River, its charming scenery attracts tourists overseas. Besides, Szechenyi Chain Bridge is the oldest and the most famous bridge in Budapest that connects Danube banks. These historical scenery are precious and popular for travelers.
