There are many reasons why foreigners should visit Colombia.

Colombia is not as dangerous as it was a few years ago， or as bad as you view on TV. Old people can feel very comfortable and safe walking around Manizales， even if they dont speak the language. The weather is about 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit year round in Cali. You dont need air-conditioning or heat. Medellin is similar， but a little cooler. Bogotá is a little cold at night.

There are many beautiful beaches. Many of the most popular on the mainland are located near Cartagena and Santa Marta， and on the offshore Island of San Andreas. You can see many beautiful women in Colombia. Its cost of living is less than most countries.

Colombia is known for its rich biodiversity. It is in the top 2 or 3 countries in the world for species of birds and butterflies. Birdwatching is a huge industry. The very pleasant climate， the friendly people and the tasty coffee attract birdwatchers from all over the world.

When you go there， its smart to have a map of the city. Prepare enough Colombian money. If you want to get some extra money， its better to go to an ATM because you can get a better deal.

Colombia is so nice that if you visit once， you will want to come back.
