Ⅰ. Teaching objectives:
1)Guide the key points in the writing
2)Write a passage about chatting online
Teaching emphasis: Learn to organize the given materials in a logical passage

Ⅱ. Teaching procedure
Step 1 Greetings
Step 2 Lead-in
(1) Review
T: Before we write an English passage, we must know the characteristics of English writing. You have watched the video about how to write a narration passage according to some pictures, so you must have got some information. Yes? Do you have any questions about it? (事先学生看过的微课内容包括英文写作的特点,基础写作的评分标准,写作训练的思路,记叙文写作导练——此四幅画描述了爱鸟周活动中李明某一天所经历的事,由此写一篇文章。)
(2) Collecting the questions
S (A): What kind of clause do we often use in an English passage?
S (B) ....
S (C) ....
(3) Teachers summary and feedback
Teacher explains. Teacher points out the difference between English and Chinese when we use attributive words.
Step 3 Practice
(1) Ask students to look at another picture.
Show the following on PPT.
题目要求:此图反映的是有些孩子沉溺于网上聊天而忽视了与父母的沟通。请你根据漫画一篇100字左右的短文。
Get students to think it over how to write a caricature passage into groups.
(2) Writing
Ask students to write down their passages.
Then get 2 students to read it out. Collect the comments on them.
(3) Guiding
Teacher gives some guide to explain how to write it well.
Show the following on PPT:

一:由画面到文字(简明 准确)
二:由结果推原因 (简单剖析 阐述观点)
三:由问题想对策 (情、理、趣)
By learning the video, the students can sum up: a teenage boy is busy chatting online;ignore his mum;mothers unhappy expression
Then find the reason:(theirs opinion)Show some structures to help like: Why do many teenagers choose to ... rather than ... Thats mainly because…
Lastly, the way to deal with: Parents are those who feed, clothe, shelter and support us; when in trouble, we should turn to our parents for advice; Interesting topics are recommended.
Step 4 Summary
T: So far, we have got some materials about the picture. So please write the passage again.
T: Before we write the passage, lets have a brief summary. If you want to write a passage, what points do we usually have? What details do we usually conclude?

Step 5 Writing
Ask students to finish writing the passage within 15 minutes. They may refer to the points they summarized. And offers the structures: As is vividly portrayed in the picture, ... Actually, whats portrayed in the caricature is ... By doing so, we can ...
Step 6 Comment
Get students to exchange their work to edit and make necessary corrections in pairs.
Step 7 Homework
Finish their composition
