People view high-definition TVs produced by a Chinese brand at IFA 2016,a world-leading consumer electronics trade show held in Germany on September 2-7.

The show attracted more than 1,800 companies, including 700 Chinese ones, to demonstrate their latest products and technologies. age points lower than that of other loans during the same period.

China has decided to establish a green financing mechanism to facilitate the economy’s transition to sustainable growth with guidelines to encourage more private capital into green sectors and to stem investment that might pollute the environment.

Yum! Investment

On September 2, Yum! Brands said it had reached a deal to sell a $460-million stake in its China business to private equity firm Primavera Capital and online and mobile financial service provider Ant Financial, the financial affiliate of China’s e-commerce king, Alibaba.

Yum! Brands, the owner of KFC,Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, said the deal and spin-off of its China business are expected to be completed on October 31. Shares of Yum! China will start trading on the New York Stock Exchange on November 1.

According to the deal, Chinabased Primavera Capital will invest $410 million while Alibaba’s financial affiliate will invest $50 million.

Micky Pant, CEO of Yum!China, said the investment showed confidence in the market strategy and growth potential of the China division.

Yum! China runs more than 7,200 KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in over 1,000 cities in China, contributing half of the company’s global revenue.

Seven New FTZs

China decided to set up seven new free trade zones (FTZs) across the country, bringing the total number to 11, as it looks to replicate the success of previous trials.

The new FTZs will be located in the provinces of Liaoning, Zhejiang,Henan, Hubei, Sichuan and Shaanxi as well as in Chongqing Municipality,according to Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng.
