1.拥有翅膀又能怎么样？狐狸从不担心天空的辽阔，它很清楚小翠鸟最牵挂的是什么。

Why would I care what a creature with wings can do， thought the Fox. He couldnt care less about the vastness of the sky. He knows exactly what the kingfisher is thinking.

2.在河边钓小虾的鼹鼠与熊猫听到了翠鸟的呼救声，功夫熊猫可不是好惹的。

熊猫抛出钓竿飞向狐狸，躲闪的狐狸失足掉进河里。

One day a mole and a panda were fishing when they heard a kingfisher crying for help！ Help！ Help！！

Dont mess with Kungfu Panda！ He threw his fishing pole at the fox. The Fox slipped and fell in the river！

3.借机飞回蒲苇丛的小翠鸟，发现窝巢的鸟蛋们一个也没剩下，伤心地哭起来。

这时，鼹鼠推着一片荷叶游到小翠鸟的窝旁。看到荷叶上的四枚鸟蛋，小翠鸟很后悔自己曾经多次拒绝过小鼹鼠发来的请柬。

谁也没有察觉到另一片荷叶“游”过来。

The kingfisher flew as fast as she could back to her home in the pampas grass. She saw her nest but all the eggs were missing！ It made her very sad and she cried.

The mole swam to her nest with a lotus leaf. Lo and behold， there were four eggs on the leaf！ The kingfisher felt bad because she had not been very friendly with the mole - she had put aside the many inviting cards from Mr.Mole.

Neither the kingfisher nor the mole saw another lotus leaf floating toward them.

4.狡猾的狐狸从水里跳出来，推倒小鼹鼠，抢走了托着四枚鸟蛋的大荷叶。

The foxy fox jumped out of the water， pushed the mole out of the way and took away the leaf with the four bird eggs！

5.熊猫跳进河里，救起挣扎着的小鼹鼠。小鼹鼠为没能守护好鸟蛋而伤心，熊猫把鼹鼠顶在头上说：“奇迹每一天都会发生，看——我已经抢回了鸟蛋。”

The panda plunged into the water to rescue the mole. Panda put the mole on his head. The mole was very sad because he didnt protect the eggs. KungFu Panda said， “Miracles happen every day.See？Here are the eggs！”

6.鼹鼠和熊猫决定分头行动——熊猫负责把鸟蛋安置到一个更安全的地方，鼹鼠则去给狐狸点颜色看看。

熊猫为了更安全地守护好鸟蛋，在竹林为小翠鸟选了一棵竹子，可是竹子太滑，爬竹子的熊猫摔下来，跌了个大屁墩儿。

The two decided on separate action： Mole decided to teach the fox a lesson while Panda was to get the eggs to a safe place.

Panda looked around for a safe place to put the eggs and decided on some bamboo. But the bamboo was slippery and he fell to the ground while climbing it.

7.站在草墩子上的鼹鼠悄悄拉开一个绳头，滚动的草墩子一下子把躲藏在一旁想要偷袭的狐狸压在下面。

The fox was hiding behind a haystack， waiting to make another attack. The mole untied the string so that all the hay fell over the fox！

8.熊猫终于想到了一个好主意——他用草绳子将钓鱼竿缠绕在两棵竹子中间，做成了一个直上云端的竹梯子，熊猫头顶着小鼹鼠，鼹鼠头顶着翠鸟窝，翠鸟的窝就这样被绑到竹梯子顶端。小翠鸟盘旋着歌唱：有朋友真好。

The panda thought of a good idea！ He tied the fishing pole between two bamboos with a piece of straw rope， making a ladder reaching high into the sky. Now he could return the eggs！ The panda climbed the ladder while the mole sat on his head holding the eggs. Mama kingfisher flew all around singing， “I have such good friends and I feel fine！”

9.熊猫每天都给两棵竹子浇水，竹梯子越长越高。

Twice a day the panda watered the bamboo ladder so that it grew very tall.

10.翠鸟的便便从高处落到狐狸的头上，连续打着喷嚏的狐狸无可奈何地逃走了。

When the fox tried to attack again， the baby birds poo-pooed on his head， making him sneeze. The fox ran away！ What else could he do？
